Tonight, on the other side of the fence, another larger and more imposing, if not somewhat startling fence appeared.  Perhaps we all need some additional protection these days.

As a postscript, each picture was taken with the camera situated ON TOP OF the fence, looking out into the backyard, therefore it was impossible to take a picture of the actual wood fence.

There seems to be some freaky face in the fire.

And while this may seem weird, it is no weirder than the fact that the Washington Shakespeare Company in Arlington, Virginia will be performing excerpts from Hamlet in….. the Klingon Language.

A lot of crazy energy is out and about tonight, especially outside the confines of the fence of the backyard.  Take a look:

Tonight there was lightning over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, but there was an equally, if not more so, impressive light show in the back yard:

I love the fact that these were two different shots taken one after the other, thereby attesting to the fact that the energy was there and morphing through.
