The Traveler’s Diary – July 31, 2024

There is much in the air these days.  We are seeing a huge cloud of unrest coming your way.  What this can be related to, we are not sure.  There is so much going on the the trends get confused and mixed up and, because of that, there is no clear path.  As a result also, people become neurotic and without center.  They act and then the question why they are acting, so they act in a different ways, sometimes diametrically opposed to the way they were acting previously.  There can be much dissension and unrest among friends and families for people are beginning to feel the need to take sides, and to be very definite in their choice of which side/s to take.  This can lead to strife on all levels, and it can be that you will find that there seems to be no clear path in which to walk, and in fact, the paths are not clear for they are covered overly much of the muck of these days.

You are wondering about others —- from our side —-s topping in.  Know that we cannot do so unless asked, at least that is true for those of s who will follow the … hmm, dictates is too strong a word, but the laws (still too strong) f the Universe in which we alll share.

It is not our place to coerce and cause to happen, however we can and will give pushes and even aid on various levels to those who ask and those who have the greater good in mind.

You are thinking of it as miracles, and perhaps it is.

Know that the trends of the Universe are many, and that in the end, the Universe desires only what it good, bu there is no law of interference that we can use for our actions.  Those who do so are working outside the realms of law, making their own laws and ways and confusing the tides of energy that surround you .

There are many things approaching that will bring sadness to those of your world, but know that even though this sadness comes, it brings with it — in the actions that evoke this sadness —it brings a kind of resolution, a revelation of what has been going on, and more and more people will become aware of it.

Before taking any definite action, it is always best to feel the flow of the energy and to look through things with the eyes of truth and clarity.  Much is coming now that will be appearing one way, but which in truth is totally something else.

Do not be fooled.  Go within,  seeking inner guidance and stop before you act, especially before you react.

Mind Control Achieved Through The “Information Flicker Effect”

I wrote this piece in 2012, in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting. I re-post it now, because it equally applies to the Orlando shooting.

No, I’m not talking about the flicker of the television picture. I’m talking about an on-off switch that controls information conveyed to the television audience.

The Sandy Hook school murders provide an example.

First of all, elite media coverage of this tragedy has one goal: to provide an expanding narrative of what happened. It’s a story. It has a plot.

In order to tell the story, there has to be a source of information. The topflight television anchors are getting their information from…where?

Their junior reporters? Not really. Ultimately, the information is coming from the police, and secondarily from local officials.

In other words, very little actual journalism is happening. The media anchors are absorbing, arranging, and broadcasting details given to them by the police investigators.

The anchors are PR people for the cops.

This has nothing to do with journalism. Nothing.

The law-enforcement agencies investigating the Sandy Hook shootings on the scene, in real time, were following up on leads? We don’t know what leads they were following and what leads they were discarding. We don’t know what mistakes they were making. We don’t know what evidence they were overlooking or intentionally ignoring.

The police were periodically giving out information to the media. The anchors were relaying this information to the audience.

So when the police privately tell reporters, “We chased a suspect into the woods above the school,” that becomes a television fact. Until it isn’t a fact any longer.

The police, for whatever reason, decide to drop the whole “suspect in the woods” angle.

Therefore, the media anchors no longer mention it.

Instead the police are focused on Adam Lanza, who is found dead in the school. So are the television anchors, who no longer refer to the suspect in the woods.

That old thread has gone down the memory hole.

What does this do to the audience who has been following the narrative on television? It sets up a flicker effect. An hour ago, it was suspect in the woods. Now, that bit of data is gone. On-off switch. It was on, now it’s off.

This is a break in logic. It makes no sense.

Which is the whole point.

The viewer thinks: “Let’s see. There was a suspect in the woods. The cops were chasing him. Now he doesn’t exist. We don’t know his name. We don’t know why he’s off the radar. We don’t know whether he was arrested. We don’t know if he was questioned. Okay, I guess I’ll have to forget all about him. I’ll just track what the anchor is telling me. He’s telling the story. I have to follow his story.”

This was only one flicker. Others occur. The father of Adam’s brother was found dead. No, that’s gone now. The mother of Adam was found dead. Okay. Adam killed all these children with two pistols. No, that’s gone now. He used a rifle. It was a Bushmaster. No, it was a Sig Sauer. One weapon was found in the trunk of a car. No, three weapons.

At each succeeding point, a fact previously reported is jettisoned and forgotten, to be replaced with a new fact. The television viewer has to forget, along with the television anchor. The viewer wants to follow the developing narrative, so he has to forget. He has no choice if he wants to “stay in the loop.”

But this flicker effect does something to the viewer’s mind. His mind is no longer alert. It’s not generating questions. Logic has been offloaded. Obvious questions and doubts are shelved.

“How could they think it was the dead father in New Jersey when it was actually the dead mother in Connecticut?”
“Why did they say he used two handguns when it was a rifle?”

“Or was it really a rifle?”

“I heard a boy on camera say there was another man the cops caught and they had him proned out on the ground in front of the school. What happened to him? Where did he go? Why isn’t the anchor keeping track of him?”

All these obvious and reasonable questions (and many others) have to be scratched and forgotten, because the television story is moving into different territory, and the viewer wants to follow the story.

This constant flicker effect eventually produces, in the television viewer…passivity.

He surrenders to the ongoing narrative. Surrenders.

This is mind control.

The television anchor doesn’t have a problem. His job is to move seamlessly, through an ever-increasing series of contradictions and discarded details, to keep the narrative going, to keep it credible.

He knows how to do that. That’s why he is the anchor.

He can make it seem as if the story is a growing discovery of what really happened, even though his narrative is littered with abandoned clues and dead-ends and senseless non-sequiturs.

And the viewer pays the price.

Mired in passive acceptance of whatever the anchor is telling him, the viewer assumes his own grasp on logic and basic judgment is flawed.

Now, understand that this viewer has been watching television news for years. He’s watched many of these breaking events. The cumulative effect is devastating.
The possibility, for example, that Adam Lanza wasn’t the shooter, but was the patsy, is as remote to the viewer as a circus of ants doing Shakespeare on Mars.

The possibility that the cops hid evidence and were ordered to release other suspects is unthinkable.

Considering that there appears to be not one angry outraged parent in Newtown (because the network producers wouldn’t permit such a parent to be interviewed on camera) never occurs to the viewer.

Wondering why the doctor of Adam Lanza hasn’t been found and quizzed about the drugs he prescribed isn’t in the mind of the viewer.

The information flicker effect is powerful. It sweeps away independent thought and measured contemplation. It certainly rules out the possibility of imagining the murders in an alternative narrative.

Because there is only one narrative. It is delivered by Brian Williams and Scott Pelley and Diane Sawyer.

Interesting how they never disagree.

Never, in one of these horrendous events do the three kings and queens of television news end up with different versions of what happened.

What are the odds of that, if the three people are rational and inquisitive?

But these three anchors are not rational or inquisitive. They are synthetic creations of the machine that runs them.

They flicker yes and they flicker no. They edit and cut and discard and tailor as they go along. Yes, no, yes, no. On, off, on, off.

And the viewers follow, in a state of hypnosis.

Why?
Because the viewers are addicted to STORY. They are as solidly addicted as a junkie looking for his next fix.

“Tell me a story. I want a story. That was a good story, but now I’m bored. Tell me another story. Please? I need another story. I’m listening. I’m watching. Tell me a story.”

And the anchors oblige.

They deal the drug.

But to get the drug, the audience has to surrender everything they question. They have to submit to the flicker effect and go under. Actually, surrendering to the flicker effect deepens the addiction.

And the drug deal is consummated.

Welcome to television coverage.

Finally, while under hypnosis, the viewing audience is treated to a segue (transition) that leads to…the guns. Something has to be done about the guns. The mind-control operation that brought the passive audience to this point takes them to the next moment of surrender, as if it were part of the same overall Sandy Hook story:

Give up the guns.

In their entrained and tranced state of mind, viewers don’t ask why law-enforcement agencies are so massively armed to do police work in America, why those agencies have ordered well over a billion rounds of ammunition in the last six months, why every day the invasive surveillance of the population moves in deeper and deeper.

Viewers, in their trance, simply assume government is benevolent and should be weaponized to the teeth, because those viewers also assume the television anchors are government allies and spokespeople, and aren’t those anchors good and kind and thoughtful and intelligent and honorable?

Therefore, isn’t the government also kind and honorable?

In case you think the public is too stupid to emerge from its trance, and would never be able to follow a line of rational discourse, if by some miracle television anchors presented one, I disagree.
During my investigation of the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing, I encountered several local citizens who were exceedingly awake, alert, and helpful. Again and again over the years, I have had help from private citizens in my research.

This is why I’ve always supported the idea of citizen grand juries, convened to investigate crimes in the area where they live. Tasked to discover the truth, wherever it leads, such people would suddenly display surprising skills. Opportunity is all that is necessary.

The media put people under, flick the on-off switches that short-circuit logic. The media practice hypnosis. The media work for surrender of the mind. The media present boggling absurdities that put the mind to sleep. The media appoint themselves as the final authorities.

This is perverse theater.

That’s all it is.

On Mainstream News & Credibility

Mainstream media losing all credibility as it fails to break any news on exploding government scandals

Friday, June 14, 2013 by: J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) In another sign of the weakening “influence” of the mainstream media, not one of the major scandals currently swirling around the Obama Administration were broken by what you could fairly call the establishment press.

Fact: Over the past few weeks, three major scandals have broken over the Obama Administration, and it is a very sad (and frightening) truth that our pathetic, American, lapdog mainstream media are not responsible for breaking even a single one,” writes John Nolte in Breitbart News’ Big Journalism section.

He goes onto note that the three scandals – involving the IRS; NSA/Verizon phone records; the Justice Department’s improper seizure of Associated Press phone records; and Benghazi – were either broken by foreign media or the so-called U.S. alternative media (of which NaturalNews is a proud member).

Thank goodness for the alternative press

The Verizon story was broken by The Guardian, a British newspaper (the whistleblower in this case, 29-year-old Edward Snowden, an NSA analyst, probably didn’t trust anyone in the U.S. with this story).

How about the IRS’ improper targeting of conservative political action groups? Again, that story was broken “with a planted question,” Nolte points out.

In the case of the Justice Department’s targeting of AP reporters and editors, even The Associated Press failed to break that story; it only emerged after the Justice Department notified the AP what had occurred, so essentially, the department tattled on itself.

And Benghazi? Again, nope. Even though there was plenty of smoke there, the mainstream media – which has been in bed with Obama since day one of his initial campaign – took a pass en mass. There were a few exceptions, most notably Jake Tapper and Sharyl Attkission, but other than that, only Republican members of Congress and Fox News have been aggressively seeking the truth about what actually took place there when our ambassador, Christopher Stevens, was killed and brutalized.

“Left up to the media, we wouldn’t know anything about Libya. All of the media’s energy was collectively poured into ensuring the truth was never discovered,” Nolte wrote. “And do you want to know what makes this realization especially pathetic? In three of the four scandals (the AP being the exception), had our media been less interested in protecting Power and more interested in holding Power accountable, these huge, career-making stories were right there for the taking.”

What’s more, the media has been extremely hypocritical (no kidding) on some of these scandals. Take the IRS’ targeting of Tea Party groups.

In early June an editorial published by the editorial staff at The New York Times was highly critical of the president over his administration’s targeting of the phone records of millions of Americans, all in the name of protecting national security. And rightfully so; it is an abuse of the Fourth Amendment like no other in the history of the country.

There is no media in the Old Media

But more than a year before the IRS scandal broke, the Times was all about having the nation’s tax collection agency target those very same groups.

“But because Obama told them to, the media hate the Tea Party. So in the face of these complaints and even a few Congressional inquiries, the media either ignored the harassment reports or openly sided with the IRS,” wrote Nolte.

The same thing can be said about what happened in Libya. Because Barack Obama was in reelection mode; and because the mainstream media was all-in to help him get reelected; and because the president’s reelection narrative on terrorism in general was that al Qaeda was on the run – the mainstream press willingly went along and refused to dig deeper on Benghazi. Had that failed operation been scrutinized, many more Americans would have known before Election Day that the administration essentially sacrificed Stevens and three other Americans for the sake of political expediency.

“Our media are not only biased; it is an utter and complete failure and embarrassment. And although there are plenty of remaining table scraps to make meals out of, the media are already losing interest in the IRS, Libya, and AP scandals, but for only one reason – they are absolutely terrified of where they might lead,” Nolte writes.

Chromoscope April 7-13

April 7-13

The theme this week is whole lot of shaking going on.  This includes values and allegiances.  It is time to see things for what they are.  Open the vision of the heart.  Stay centered and grounded in the core and listen to the truth out there.  If you can do all that, you can make it through.

Overall Color for the Week:    Sea Blue

This is a week of shake-ups in all areas.  It is well to start out each day with a grounding ritual and a centering.  It is time to know all the things that you are, that you can do that make you powerful.  This is a time in which it is no longer advantageous at all to try to follow the world views of others.  All those imposed guilts and fears need to be seen for what they are.  This can involve some really difficult, yet ultimately liberating, soul-searching.  This is a week for seeing the sun come out of the shadows and for knowing that the shadows only exist where you have not allowed the sun to break through.  There is no thing that is too much for you.  Yes, things can be overwhelming, but there is that light inside that will take you through it all.  You have prepared for these times, and you know instinctively what it is that you are to do.  Honor your intuition.  Listen to the clues.  There are people out there for you.  Your community is moving together inevitably.  There is joy in the recognition of that.  Heed those times of déjà vu, of synchronicity, of serendipity.  These are assurances, signs if you will, from the Universe that all is well.  You are not alone.  There is something you need to be learning this week, the book, the medium, the element will come to you this week.  Embrace it.  Accept it.  This is a time for receiving.   One other thing, the physicality is shifting more and more.  There can be some physical issues this week.  Go within and know them for what they are.  Some might require some additional care or action.   Also perspectives are shifting and this can cause some tough moment

On the larger scale, the hidden dragon is awakening, stirring.  All things are responding on and within the Earth.  Gaia has come forth in her compassion and love and care of self to begin the times when things truly begin to shift and find their centers.  This week will bring this out in quite dramatic contrast.  There will be startling incidents happening, while seeds of greater events are being sown.  This is part of this great and undeniable shift.  You will see things going on within the world of politics on all scales and in many different countries that will lead you to question just what is going on.  Covers will be ripped off of some of the secrets that ‘they’ thought were so well disguised.  There is a groups of people who will be making themselves known on the Internet who have information to give concerning the larger frame of reference and the existence of extra-terrestrials in the history of the world.  This will reach a larger audience and may get some peripheral coverage in the media.  Meanwhile there will be jumps in the stock market this week that will be countered and twisted as time goes by.  The Sun will be exerting a sideways influence on the Earth, and with this will come some interruptions in the electronics.  Be prepared for this.  There is something in the water that will be brought forth.  There is a cloud over the Koreas that will begin to rain.  This is a week when there is uncertainty in so many different areas.  The ley lines and power points on the globe are beginning to light up and activate, and as this happens, places in which there have been attempts in the past to cover the light will find themselves in the midst of the shake up, particularly in Asia Minor through to Nepal.  There will be a number of travel issues occurring this week, so if you are going somewhere, listen to your intuition.  This is truly a time for being grounded.

Wednesday, April 10:    Light Turquoise Blue

There are many things that you had been planning for today, but it is best just to let that all go and allow things to unfold as they will.  There are messages that you have been missing, and the current energy is lining them up in such a way that you will no longer be able to ignore them. Look to nature, the movement of the wind, the flight of birds, the cries of animals, they are reacting to what is going on vibrationally.  They are moving into a closer kind of communication with the human species as the energies of Gaia gather together those who are listening.  There is much to hear.  Know that you will be given an opportunity today.  Think on it before making a decision.  It is related to some long held desires, but you must be clear in what it is that you are wanting, and decide based upon your highest good.  Your are not alone in the decision-making process.  You deepest heart’s knowing is connected to the Universal Consciousness.  There is wisdom there.
