On Resonance, Frequency, & The Body

Frequency, DNA and The Human Body

J. Richardson, Prevent Disease, Guest | Your entire existence…all matter, all life, all experiences–everything owes its existence in the physical world to frequency. Absolutely everything is frequency. You cannot have an experience on this planet without attracting it through frequency. Every emotion, including love and hate tunes into a specific frequency. Health has a frequency. Disease has frequency. Your organs are each tuned to a specific frequency as is your entire body which resonates at its own frequency. You are a symphony of frequencies while you project yourself through this universe and create your physical reality. You are a master of your energy, and thus you are able to control everything you are, everything you do, everything you experience. From the day you are born until the day you die, nothing will ever change the fact that you are both a frequency emitter and receiver in flux with your internal and external environment.

DNA possesses two structural characteristics of fractal antennas, electronic conduction and self symmetry. Electrical conduction allows the movement of electrically charged particles within the body and that flow produces our life force.

Life itself as we know it is inextricably interwoven with geometric forms, from the angles of atomic bonds in the molecules of the amino acids, to the helical spirals of DNA, to the spherical prototype of the cell, to the first few cells of an organism which assume vesical, tetrahedral, and star (double) tetrahedral forms prior to the diversification of tissues for different physiological functions.

The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snow flakes, pine cones, flower petals, diamond crystals, the branching of trees, a nautilus shell, the star we spin around, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms as we know them emerge out of timeless geometric codes.

Our human bodies on this planet all developed with a common geometric progression from one to two to four to eight primal cells and beyond.

The universe is more than 99.999% empty space, including our own bodies. All physical things are made of atoms which are mostly empty space. If the nucleus was the size of a marble, the electrons would be specks of dust a half mile away. Every physical thing has that much empty space in it. Inside that empty space is intelligence and frequency.

Almost everywhere we look, the mineral intelligence embodied within crystalline structures follows a geometry unfaltering in its exactitude. The lattice patterns of crystals all express the principles of mathematical perfection and repetition of a fundamental essence, each with a characteristic spectrum of resonances defined by the angles, lengths and relational orientations of its atomic components.

Golden ratio of segments in 5-pointed star (pentagram) were considered sacred to plato and pythagoras in their mystery schools. Note that each larger (or smaller) section is related by the phi ratio, so that a power series of the golden ratio raised to successively higher (or lower) powers are automatically generated

Fibonacci ratios appear in the ratio of the number of spiral arms in daisies, in the chronology of rabbit populations, in the sequence of leaf patterns as they twist around a branch, and a myriad of places in nature where self-generating patterns are in effect. The sequence is the rational progression towards the irrational number embodied in the quintessential golden ratio.

The world and the universe around us are filled with sacred geometry and the golden ratio. From seashells to the human body, from the cosmos to the atom, all forms are permeated with the shapes found in sacred geometry. While sacred geometry theories can be verified mathematically, it is also a field which holds much interest to many different religious communities who can find that it holds deep spiritual meaning for them. Scientists, archaeologists, mathematicians, and many spiritual seekers study sacred geometry as well.

The human genome is packed with at least four million gene switches that reside in bits of DNA that once were dismissed as “junk” but it turns out that so-called junk DNA plays critical roles in controlling how cells, organs and other tissues behave. The discovery, considered a major medical and scientific breakthrough, has enormous implications for human health and consciousness because many complex diseases appear to be caused by tiny changes in hundreds of gene switches.

As scientists delved into the “junk” — parts of the DNA that are not actual genes containing instructions for proteins — they discovered a complex system that controls genes. At least 80 percent of this DNA is active and needed. Another 15-17 percent has higher functions scientists are still decoding.

Most of the molecules in the body are electrical dipoles. These dipoles electronically function like transducers in that they are able to turn acoustic waves into electrical waves and electrical waves into acoustic waves.

A number of membrane proteins as well as DNA consist of helical coils, which may allow them to electronically function as inductor coils. Biological tissues may possess superconducting properties. If certain membrane proteins and the DNA actually function as electrical inductors they may enable the cell to transiently produce very high electrical voltages.

Chronic disease occurs when voltage drops below a certain voltage. Cells then don’t have enough energy to work correctly and amount of oxygen in cells drops, switching from aerobic (oxygen- available) metabolism to anaerobic (oxygen diminished) metabolism.

The natural properties of biomolecular structures enables cell components and whole cells to oscillate and interact resonantly with other cells. The cells of the body and cellular components possess the ability to function as electrical resonators.

Professor H. Frohlich has predicted that the fundamental oscillation in cell membranes occurs at frequencies of the order of 100 GHz and that biological systems possess the ability to create and utilize coherent oscillations and respond to external oscillations.

Because cell membranes are composed of dielectric materials a cell will behave as dielectric resonator and will produce an evanescent electromagnetic field in the space around itself. This field does not radiate energy but is capable of interacting with similar systems.

The applications of certain frequencies by frequency generating devices can enhance or interfere with cellular resonance and cellular metabolic and electrical functions. The changes in the degree that water is structured in a cell or in the ECM will affect the configurations and liquid crystal properties of proteins, cell membranes, organelle membranes and DNA.

Healthy tissues have more structured water than unhealthy tissues. Clinicians who recognize this fact have found that certain types of music, toning, chanting, tuning forks, singing bowls, magnetic waters, certain types of frequency generators, phototherapy treatments and homeopathic preparations can improve water structuring in the tissues and health when they are correctly utilized. Electricity, charge carriers and electrical properties of cells.

The cells of the body are composed of matter. Matter itself is composed of atoms, which are mixtures of negatively charged electrons, positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons. When an electron is forced out of its orbit around the nucleus of an atom the electron’s action is known as electricity. An electron, an atom, or a material with an excess of electrons has a negative charge.

There are multiple structures in cells that act as electronic components. If biological tissues and components of biological tissues can receive, transduce and transmit electric, acoustic, magnetic, mechanical and thermal vibrations then this may help explain such phenomena as:

1. Biological reactions to atmospheric electromagnetic and ionic disturbance (sunspots, thunder storms and earthquakes).

2. Biological reactions to the earth’s geomagnetic and Schumann fields.

3. Biological reactions to hands on healing.

4. Biological responses to machines that produce electric, magnetic, photonic and acoustical vibrations (frequency generators).

5. Medical devices that detect, analyze and alter biological electromagnetic fields (the biofield).

6. How techniques such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and laser (photonic) acupuncture can result in healing effects and movement of Chi?

7. How body work such as deep tissue massage, rolfing, physical therapy, chiropractics can promote healing?

8. Holographic communication.

9. How neural therapy works

10. How electrodermal screening works

11. How some individuals have the capability of feeling, interpreting and correcting alterations in another individual’s biofield

Electric fields need to be measured not just as strong or weak, but also as low carriers or high carriers of information.

The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. The bottom line was: “Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation.” This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself.

Because electric fields conventionally defined as strong thermally may be low in biological information content and electric fields conventionally considered as thermally weak or non-ionizing may be high in biological information content if the proper receiving equipment exists in biological tissues. Weak electromagnetic fields are: bioenergetic, bioinformational, non-ionizing and non-thermal and exert measurable biological effects. Weak electromagnetic fields have effects on biological organisms, tissues and cells that are highly frequency specific and the dose response curve is non linear. Because the effects of weak electromagnetic fields are non-linear, fields in the proper frequency and amplitude windows may produce large effects, which may be beneficial or harmful.

Homeopathy is an example of use weak field with a beneficial electromagnetic effect. Examples of a thermally weak, but high informational content fields of the right frequency range are visible light and healing touch. Biological tissues have electronic components that can receive, transduce, transmit weak electronic signals that are actually below thermal noise.

Biological organisms use weak electromagnetic fields (electric and photonic) to communicate with all parts of themselves An electric field can carry information through frequency and amplitude fluctuations.

Biological organisms are holograms.

Those healthy biological organisms have coherent biofields and unhealthy organisms have field disruptions and unintegrated signals. It is said that frequency and thus vibration is the variable of dependence. The genetic wave information from DNA, recorded within the polarizations of connected photons, being quantum-nonlocal, constitutes a broadband radio wave spectrum correlated by means of polarizations with the photons.

There is at present on our planet, a great schism in belief regarding resonant frequency. There are those who believe that yes, we all vibrate to the same frequency, whether it is the vibrational rate of the energy points or the vibrational rate of the liver. And many of these are people who believe they have indeed figured out the vibrational rate of the various organs, other bodily parts and etheric fields have invented instruments, made tapes or created machines which will somehow project the correct resonant frequency back in to the body to heal what ails you.

Then, there are others who believe that we are all unique vibratory beings; that the frequencies of our organs and bodily systems may be different and are not the same.

One fact will always remain…we are all energy bounded by frequency. How we interpret ourselves and our universe is guided by the one elusive concept that scientists still find mysterious, yet intriguing. Until that day comes when more research is devoted to how frequencies affect our entire existence, the answers to those mysteries will remain unanswered.

On the Benefits of Music

Music as Medicine

Music As Medicine

By Joshua Eagle

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Just as letters, words and phrases carry vibrational information which transmutes out into our greater universe, so too does music. There may be no greater language with the power to break all universal vibrational communication boundaries than that of music.

Imprinted into the fabric of reality is a fluidity which at the underlying core is comprised of vibration. In this current band of reality we exist in, mediums such as color, geometry, tonality and sound, work to transmute this fluid like energy, often referred to as zero-point energy, ether, or ‘the source’, into our waking state. The act of syncopated drumming in particular is a most powerful way of drawing in this source energy into one’s mind through the creation of a repetitive pulse wave which draws in this energy into one’s individual consciousness, merging the individual mind with that of the universal mind.

In this way, instruments are photonic and vibratory transducers.

Music is Science

The field of Quantum Physics teaches that a foundational seed concept from which all other knowledge of our cosmic universe grows is that of String Theory. The notion of String Theory explains that, while our entire universe is made up of particles and their seemingly ever-unfolding plethora of sub-atomic singularities, it is only when these isolated singularities come together to form a string that intelligence is brought to life.

Whether we are examining the string of a Violin or a strand of our biologic DNA, what is found contained within is an intelligence that becomes born only after singular particles are exposed to photonic energy or photons of light, in combination with the pulse waves being emitted directly from the center of our galaxy. Contained within the frequency of cosmic light and the vibratory pulsation emanating from our galaxy’s core exists what very well may be “God’s code”. This becomes apparent when we see that just exposing our own naked skin to the complete spectrum of UV sunlight triggers over 3,000 DNA activations within our cellular biologic matrix; and this same principle goes for plants, which only after receiving photons of light and engaging in photosynthesis are capable of generating their own food, antioxidants, vitamins and phytochemicals, which we humans ingest as medicine.

It is only when isolated singularities come together to form a string that intelligence is brought to life.

Music as Medicine - Shamanic Drumming

Music in Shamanism

In all indigenous cultures, the medicine man, otherwise known as the Shaman, incorporates music as an integral form of medicine for the community. In areas of the world where sunlight is abundant Shamans integrate their medicine of music with specific entheogenic Shamanic plants to maximize healing benefits. However, in areas of greater northern and southern longitudes where sunlight is sparse and plants are nearly devoid, Shamans rely solely on music as their form of spiritual medicine through the use of syncopated drumming.

In Amazonian Shamanism exists the practice of singing medicine songs called Icaros to the patients or recipients of the plant medicine being given. Within these Icaros themselves, medicine is directly transmuted to the recipients through the vibrational energetic power of the Shaman. Just like when working with crystal healing, where a gem or crystal is charged by sunlight and purified by water or sacred plant smoke, the crystal skeleton and blood of humans (which at its very nature is fluid crystalline water and crystalline bone) becomes charged by the Icaros of the Shaman. In combination with the purification of the medicinal plant smoke, this generates massive healing power within the recipient, if the shaman embodies benevolent intentions.

In this band of reality we exist in, music carries vibrational information which transmutes out into our greater universe.

XENEX Ultraviolet Light Robot Kills EBola

light

Ultraviolet light robot kills Ebola in two minutes; why doesn’t every hospital have one of these?

(NaturalNews) While vaccine makers and drug companies are rushing to bring medical interventions to the market that might address the Ebola pandemic, there’s already a technology available right now that can kill Ebola in just two minutes in hospitals, quarantine centers, commercial offices and even public schools.

It’s called the Xenex Germ-Zapping Robot, and it was invented by a team of Texas doctors whose company is based on San Antonio. (And no, I didn’t get paid to write this. I’m covering this because this technology appears to be a viable lifesaving invention.)

The Xenex Germ-Zapping Robot uses pulsed xenon-generated UV light to achieve what the company calls “the advanced environmental cleaning of healthcare facilities.” Because ultraviolet light destroys the integrity of the RNA that viruses are made of, it renders viruses “dead.” (Viruses aren’t really alive in the first place, technically speaking, so the correct term is “nonviable.”)

Ebola, just like most other viruses, are quickly destroyed by UV light. That’s why Ebola likes to spread in dark places where sunlight doesn’t reach. (Think of Ebola as a “vampire” virus that feeds off human blood but shuns sunlight…) The Xenex robot destroys Ebola on surfaces in just two minutes, zapping them with a specific wavelength of UV light at concentrations that are 25,000 times higher than natural sunlight.

Kill Ebola with electricity and UV light; no toxic chemicals needed

The reason I’m covering this medical technology is because I’m seriously impressed with the concept and the green technology behind it. The Xenex unit generates UV light using xenon — one of the noble gases — rather than toxic mercury. So there’s no toxic mercury to deal with, even when disposing of the equipment after its useful life.

So many of the approaches to disinfection in hospitals today are based on harsh, toxic chemicals that pose a secondary risk to the health of hospital patients and staff. But UV light emitted by the Xenex robot leaves no chemical residue whatsoever and requires no chemical manufacturing plant to manufacture. This is truly “light medicine” because it disinfects using specific frequencies of light.

Studies touted by the manufacturer appear to show extraordinary disinfection results spanning both bacterial superbugs and viral strains:

– 57% reduction in MRSA at Moses Cone

– 53% reduction in C.diff infections at Cooley Dickenson

– 50% reduction in bacterial contamination at Cambridge Health Alliance

– 30% reduction in C.diff at the MD Anderson Cancer Center

– 62% reduction in microbial load at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center

Already in 250 hospitals and growing…

The Xenex UV robot is already being used in about 250 hospitals. That number is likely to increase dramatically due to the current global Ebola outbreak.

The base price of the Xenex unit is around $100,000, and the unit pays for itself very quickly by preventing expensive infections. It can disinfect a typical hospital room in about 10 minutes, and it comes with organization and scheduling software that allows hospital staff to keep track of which rooms have been treated.

The Three Pillars of Radiant Health

Originally published on Fearless Parent, like us on Facebook

Hey Parents, This New Normal Ain’t OK

Two hundred years ago, English poet William Wordsworth bemoaned man’s preoccupation with the material world and our lost connection to nature and what truly matters. Can you relate? We are so attuned to the rhythms of social and daily commerce around us that new realities normalize and we settle for them. Even when they aren’t remotely acceptable.

This is the U.S. today:

* rank among developed countries

The new childhood normal is deeply unsettling. What’s a mama to do?

The Three Pillars of Radiant Health

Whenever there’s a health issue, medical anthropologist Syd Singer suggests we ask: What am I doing that may be causing the problem? Intrepid parents are asking the question. To find answers, we’re scouring the scientific literature, consulting researchers, acknowledging anecdotal and clinical experience, examining global best practices, and accessing ancestral wisdom.

When it comes to my family’s health, I rely on a few foundational principles that serve as guideposts for the many issues that come up. If you’re already pregnant or hoping to be soon, this two-part series focuses on the important things you can do to give your baby the best chance for a healthy start (and it’ll help the rest of your family, too). Preconception, they apply to mom and dad (and it pays to start early). Post birth, they apply to everyone. Here are the three pillars of radiant health:

Pillar #1: RESPECT THE MICROBIOME

Human health, immunity, and well-being pivot on a vast microbial foundation called the human microbiome. This is the total complement of microorganisms residing in and on our skin, and deep inside the body, including but not limited to the full length of our mucosal linings, from our nasal and oral membranes down through the gastrointestinal tract and beyond. One hundred trillion microbes — as many as three pound’s worth – call us home. The microbiome is an entire ecosystem teeming with 10,000 species of bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and more. Most of these microbes are benign or actively protective and productive. Watch this fantastic TEDx talk by researcher Jeroen Raes.

We owe a lot to our microbiome. It houses over two-thirds of our immune system. It produces important vitamins, such as B12 and K2. It synthesizes our own private stash of “feel good” chemicals, like dopamine, serotonin, and GABA. It inhibits colonization of pathogens by competing for attachment sites and essential nutrients (how cool is that?). New research offers tantalizing connections between the microbiome and what ails us, including:

Among other studies, the NIH is looking to better understand the vaginal microbiome during pregnancy. Fantastic, right? It’s a brave new microbial world.

Protect your microbiota. They are the guardians at the gate and the wizard behind the curtain. There’s an unfathomable intelligence in these bugs. Thank God.

Pillar #2: FOOD IS MEDICINE

It’s not just a matter of giving our engines good fuel to keep our bodies running efficiently. There’s an entirely separate idea that shouldn’t be revolutionary, but it is. It is the idea that food is medicine. For real. It can heal us. If we change how we eat, we can change our lives. The corollary, of course, is that, if food is so important, then the wrong food can be harmful and increase our risk of chronic illness.

Tempted though we might be on occasion, we can’t, don’t, and shouldn’t eat all day. We’re busy and we’re probably not getting what we need. We want every bite we take to count. This is true for babies, too. It’s why you will hear that we must eat densely. We’re talking about food that’s chock-full of of the good stuff we need to power up, build and repair tissues, and sustain life. The collection of chemical reactions in which our bodies engage to convert or use energy is called metabolism. Digestion, respiration, elimination, and circulation. It’s what keeps us alive and kicking. Metabolism uses nutrients. Carbs, fats, and proteins provide 100% of the body’s energy. Vitamins and minerals are “co-factors” the body needs for metabolism to take place.

There’s a food revolution underway. It’s highlighting the many different ways to eat and providing a “feast” of new research and cutting edge ideas, with online and community-based education, conversation, and support. People are doing phenomenal things for their health with food.

Changing how and what you eat can help your body to be more efficient at doing what it does best: keeping you alive and helping you thrive.

Pillar #3: LESS IS MORE

We are a consumerist society. We love stuff and believe that the latest is the greatest. We embrace better living through innovation in science, medicine, and technology, which we equate with progress. If one is good, more is better, and before we know it, we find ourselves wanting as much as possible of something we never really needed in the first place. This is why reality shows feature Hoarders and Storage WarsPODS appear on front lawns, and 70% of Americans take prescription drugs (and 19 million abuse them).

It’s my nature to jump in and take action, but that’s not the case when I’m addressing my children’s health. I start with the premise that less is more. Our bodies hold more intelligence about what we need to be well than I could ever hope to acquire and orchestrate on my own. I have a definite bias against medical interventions. All things equal, I prefer to say “no, thank you” to a drug, treatment, or a procedure, especially when one (or more) of these things is true:

  • There’s no emergency.
  • It’s something new.
  • I don’t understand it.
  • It sounds too good to be true.
  • I don’t think we need it.
  • There are risks.
  • I’m feeling pressured.
  • It makes me nervous.
  • There’s a PR firm behind it.

As pediatrician Larry Palevsky says to fretting parents: “Don’t just do something. Stand there.”

The toxins in allopathic drugs and medical treatment are just one category of toxic environmental exposure. It’s a numbers game and less is definitely more. Contrary to what you might hear, there’s no debate. Environmental toxins are absolutely implicated in most of what ails us, from illness, autism, and cancer to brain damage and birth defects. Beware when people say: “the body can handle it,” “the risk is worth the benefit,” or “the genie is out of the bottle.” They’re trying to comfort themselves or convince you to do something you may not want to do. Here’s what I can say for sure:

  • Everyone isn’t born with the same genetic strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Everyone doesn’t inherit the same degree of transgenerational toxicity.
  • Everyone doesn’t live in the same place and do the same things.
  • Our world is more toxic.
  • Less is better.
  • If you’re worried, pay attention. You’re onto something.
  • It’s not their body. It’s yours.

We’re not in control of all our toxic exposures. However, we are in control of many of them. Choosing non-toxic substitutes can make a big difference, particularly since we’re subjected to some of these substances multiple times a day, or all day and all night, over very long periods of time. We apply toxins directly in and on our bodies, and on things that come into contact with our bodies. This includes all the activities that comprise our waking and resting moments, when we eat, drink, clean, cook, primp, wash, brush, protect, entertain, travel, medicate, decorate, renovate, fix, furnish, exercise, work, romp, and sleep.

We should decrease toxic overwhelm to be kind to our precious organs and pathways of detoxification and excretion. When they’re not optimized, bad things start to happen.

Ervin Lazlo on Evolved Consciousness

The Ten Point Credo of an Evolved Consciousness

tumblr_mmt443RANI1rzhtlmo1_1280

1. I am part of the world. The world is not outside of me, and I am not outside of the world. The world is in me, and I am in the world.

2. I am more than a skin-and-bone material organism: my body, and its cells and organs are manifestations of what is truly me: a self-sustaining, self-evolving dynamic system arising, persisting and developing in interaction with other such systems and with the world around me.

3. I am one of the highest, most evolved manifestations of the drive toward coherence and wholeness in the world. My essence is this cosmic drive. It is the same essence that is inherent in all the systems that arise and evolve in the universe.

4. There are no absolute boundaries and divisions among the systems that arise and evolve in the universe, only transition points where one set of relations yields prevalence to another. In me, in this self-maintaining and self-evolving coherence- and wholeness-oriented system, the relations that integrate the cells and organs of my body are prevalent.  Beyond my body other relations gain prevalence: those that drive toward coherence and wholeness in humanity, nature, and throughout the universe.

5. The separate identity I attach to my fellow humans is a convenient convention to facilitate my interaction with them. My family and my community are just as much “me” as the cells and organs of my body. There are only gradients of intensity in the relations that distinguishing individuals from each other and from the world, no absolute divisions and boundaries. There are no “others” in the world: we are all dynamic, coherence and wholeness oriented systems in the world and we are part of the world and so part of each other.

6. Collaboration, not competition, is the royal road to the wholeness and coherence that hallmarks healthy systems in the world. Collaboration calls for trust, empathy and solidarity. Comprehension, conciliation, and forgiveness are not signs of weakness but signs of courage. Harming others, even under the banner of patriotism and national or corporate interest is a mistaken intention. I am part of whoever I harm, and so I harm myself.

7. “The good” for me, and for everyone in my world, is not the possession and accumulation of wealth. Wealth, whether in money or in a material resource, is but a means for maintaining myself in my environment. As exclusively mine, it commandeers a part of the resources that all living beings on the planet need to share if they are to live and thrive. Exclusive wealth is a threat to everyone in the community of life on the planet, and because I as well as the holders of wealth are part of this community, it is a threat to the wealthy, and to me.

8. A healthy person has pleasure in giving: it is a higher pleasure than having. I am healthy and whole when I value giving over having. The true measure of accomplishment and excellence is my readiness to give, whatever I can give without harming myself, my family and those in my care. A community that values giving over having is a community of healthy persons, thriving through solidarity and love. Sharing enhances the community, while possessing and accumulating creates demarcation, invites competition and fuels envy. The share-society is the norm for all communities of life on the planet; the have-society is an aberration.

9. Only life and its development have intrinsic value as ends in themselves.  All other things have value only insofar as they add to or enhance life and its development. Material things, and the energies and substances they need or generate, have value only insofar they contribute to the development of life in the community of all beings on the planet.

10. I recognize my responsibility for evolving my consciousness, and through my example for helping the evolution of consciousness in others. We have been part of the aberration of human consciousness in the modern world, and we need to be part of the evolution that overcomes that aberration. Living and working toward this goal is my duty, as a conscious member of a conscious species in a conscious cosmos.

Essential Oils for Health

20 All Purpose Remedies Using Essential Oils

20-All-Purpose-Remedies-Using-Essential-Oils

27th August 2014

By Gaye Levy

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

The use of essential oils for wellness and healing seems to be catching everyone’s attention these days.  This is true not only in the prepping and homesteading world, but in the mainstream world of traditional medicine as well.

While it is easy to recommend using essential oils for whatever ails you, the question of which essential oil to use for a specific ailment can be elusive.  Let’s face it.  Sometimes you have a little problem that you want to solve right now, without resorting to a ton of research.

I am going to make it easy for you.  With the assistance of author Rebecca Schiffhauer, I have compiled a go-to list of 20 great ways to use essential oils to solve everyday ailments not only for you, but your pets and children as well.

20 Great Ways to Use Essential Oils

1.  Hiccups

Dab some Peppermint on the back of your neck, a little on each side of the spinal cord.

2.  Runny nose

Swipe a drop of Lemon down each side of the nose to dry it up.  Stay out of the sun afterwards to avoid sunburn.

3.  Drowsiness

Combine Peppermint and Wild Orange, apply to the back of the neck, next inhale the oil left on your hands.  Or add 4 drops of each to your diffuser.

4.  Itchy, irritated eyes

Dab Lavender with a bit of carrier oil on the facial bones surrounding your eyes (careful to keep oil away from eyes).  If applying to children, make sure they don’t rub their eyes until oil is absorbed.

5.  Allergies

Mix up equal parts of Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint ~ nature’s antibiotic!  Apply to bottom of your feet morning and night.  Diffuse if possible.  Spark Naturals sells a convenient blend called called L.L.P. – short for Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint!

6.  Ear Ache/Infection

Combine 2 drops Basil or Melaleuca (aka Tea Tree) with a little carrier oil and rub around the rim of the ear, behind the ear and just inside.  Apply several times a day.  Note:  never drop essential oils directly into the ear.

7.  Troubled breathing

Have a bit of chest congestion or asthma?  Apply Respire blend on the chest, then cup your hands over your face and breath in the residual Respire blend on it ~ creating a natural “inhaler”.

8.  Bad breath

A drop of Peppermint on your tongue and you’re kissable fresh again.

9.  Athlete’s foot

Melaleuca works wonders!  Apply neat (meaning undiluted) to affected areas twice a day.

10.  Toe fungus

Melaleuca to the rescue again.  Dab the affected toenail with a saturated q-tip morning and night.

11.  Unsightly warts or skin tags

Use a Q-tip to dab one drop of Oregano oil on the affected area morning and night.  Oregano is a hot oil so you won’t want to spread it around.  Skin tags should fall off in two or three of weeks.  Warts will take a bit longer but eventually will disappear.

For kids: Lemon works wonderfully too.  Apply morning and night and don’t cover with a Band-Aid; it’s important to let the area breathe.  Also, it’s convenient to put the EO in a roll-on bottle so kids can apply themselves…they like taking charge   Be careful of too much sun after the application of lemon oil.

12.  Cellulite

Pour a bottle of Grapefruit into a 4 oz. bottle of fractionated coconut oil and rub into problem areas after shower or bath.  You’ll smell divine and your skin will be so soft.

13.  Diaper Rash

Mix up some Diaper Spray: 18 oz. water, 1 tsp. organic body wash, 4 drops Melaleuca, 4 drops Lavender.  This is a great diaper rash preventative too!  DIY Healing Salve is a wonder for this as well.

14.  Fleas on Your Dog

Drip a couple drops of Melaleuca on back of your dog’s  collar.  Or, tie a bandanna with a few drops of Melaleuca around your dogs neck and watch fleas flee!

15.  Dog’s Ear Infection

Place 1 of drop of Melaleuca and carrier oil on a cotton ball, wipe inside of ear several times a day.

16.  Dog with Sunburned Nose

Dab a little Lavender with carrier oil on his nose for relief.  This works for people too!

17.  Muscle Aches

Mix 1 part Amend blend with 1 part fractionated coconut oil as a penetrating, pain relieving massage oil.  Add a drop of Birch or Wintergreen for extra strength.  Or, try Lemongrass mixed with some DIY Healing Salve.

18.  Fever

A few drops of Peppermint mixed with a carrier oil and applied to the torso can drop body temperature by 3 degrees in minutes.

19.  Burns

A drop of Lavender will immediately stop the pain and mitigate tissue damage.

20.  Heartburn

A couple drops of Peppermint in a small glass of milk will knock out heartburn.  Or, try rubbing a few drops of Digest blend over your chest.  It really works!

The Final Word

My love affair with essential oils continues.  These days I have moved beyond the basics of Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint and Melaleuca (tea tree) and  rely on a variety of oils to do various things.  They are used for first aid, personal grooming, stress relief, and general health and wellness.

To be honest, three years ago, if someone told me I was going to dump, literally, all of my over-the-counter remedies in favor of essential oils I would have thought “no way”. Clearly, that is exactly what has happened.  I now have a large collection of oils that should serve me well for a long time as long and I continue my pursuit of knowledge about these amazing substances.

I know I am not alone.  Whenever I write an article extolling the virtues of essential oils, I receive a flurry of emails that reflect a pent up interest in learning more about essential oils and how they can be used to enhance our long term well-being and survival.

FIndings: Organic vs Non-Organic Foods

Scientists Reviewed 343 Studies to See if Organic Food is Better for You. Here’s What they Found Out.

organic tomatoes
Are organic foods really healthier than non-organic foods? Researchers from Newcastle University in England have reviewed and conducted meta-analysis on 343 peer-reviewed scientific studies in an effort to find out if organic foods contained greater nutritional value than conventional foods. The results will probably shock some, but will confirm what many people already knew; organic foods are indeed much healthier for human consumption than ‘conventional’ foods.

The study looked at existing research that had been conducted on the differences between organic and conventional foods, finding that there were some significant variations in the nutritional value between the two.

“We carried out meta-analyses based on 343 peer-reviewed publications that indicate statistically significant and meaningful differences in composition between organic and non-organic crops/crop-based foods”

The most important difference that researchers found was that organic foods contain a much higher amount of antioxidants than conventional crops. Antioxidants prevent oxidation in the body which combats certain diseases and cancers.  A WSU press release noted that:

“consumers who switch to organic fruits, vegetables, and cereals would get 20 to 40 percent more antioxidants. That’s the equivalent of about two extra portions of fruit and vegetables a day, with no increase in caloric intake.”

Shoppers often argue that organic foods are too pricy to purchase for an everyday diet. Well, if they contain more nutrition per serving, then the body would require less servings per meal. Logic indicates that by comparing price based on nutritional value rather than amount, shoppers can spend about the same if not less with organics.

Now the downside of eating organic foods is they contain less pesticides. Oh wait…thats right, pesticides are extremely harmful to the body! Researchers found that conventionally grown foods are three to four times more likely to contain pesticide residues. The study indicated that:

“While crops harvested from organically managed fields sometimes contain pesticide residues, the levels are usually 10-fold to 100-fold lower in organic food”

Based on the research, the choice between organic foods and conventionally grown foods is a no-brainer. Organic foods are hands down a more nutritious and health promoting option. So, whether you’re deciding to plant a garden or shop for groceries, remember the important benefits of eating organic foods.

Not only is organic food better for your health, according to the largest study of its kind from Washington State University, it’s also better for the environment.

The Many Uses of Tea Tree Oil

The Miracle of Tea Tree Oil: 80 Amazing Uses for Survival

Gaye Levy

Essential oils have been used for healing and medicinal purposes for centuries and most certainly long before we had pills, capsules and big pharma to take care of our medical woes. And while there is a place for manufactured pharmaceuticals in our survival medicine kit, there exists the possibility that none will be available or that they will be in such scarce supply that they should be reserved for only the most dire of circumstances.

For that reason, many preppers and individuals seeking self-reliance are learning to use essential oils to manage the both routine and not-so-routine maladies that occur in daily life. There are about a dozen or so essential oils that belong in every survival kit including tea tree, peppermint, lavender, clove, rosemary and lemon among others. All of these essential oils have healing properties but today I would like to focus on just one, tea tree oil.

A Brief History Of Tea Tree Oil

It is believed that the Aborigines of Australia have been using the leaves of the indigenous Malaleuca Tree (whose leaves are used to make tea tree oil) in their medications for centuries. They inhaled the oils from the crushed leaves to treat coughs and colds, sprinkled crushed leaves on their wounds and used an infusion of soaked leaves to treat sore throats or skin ailments.

Use of the oil itself, as opposed to the un-extracted plant material, did not become common practice until researcher Arthur Penfold published the first reports of its antimicrobial activity in a series of papers in the 1920s and 1930s. In evaluating the antimicrobial activity, he found that tea tree oil was 11 times more active than phenol.

The commercial tea tree oil industry was born shortly thereafter although interest in tea tree oil ebbed after World War II, presumably due to the development of effective antibiotics and the waning image of natural products. Interest was rekindled in the 1970s as part of the general renaissance of interest in natural products.

80 USES OF TEA TREE OIL FOR SURVIVAL

For thousands of years, the derivatives of the Malaleuca Tree have been effective in treating a wide variety of ailments. Here are 80 reasons why you should use it, too!

Abrasions & Minor Cuts: After cleaning the area well, apply a few drops of the oil directly. If a bandage is needed, allow a few drops of the oil to penetrate a cotton ball, then lay it face down on the wound with a bandage on top.

Acne: Add a drop to your normal cleansing routine or dab a very small amount on acne breakouts. You can also add 20 – 40 drops of the oil to your regular face wash.

Air Freshener: Keep a supply of cotton balls soaked in tea tree oil packed away in a plastic bag or tin. When confronted with foul smells from cooking, musty orders from dampness or even the medicinal smell in a sick room, take a few out the freshen the air and remove the nasty smell.

Allergies: Use topically by massaging into the chest, abdomen or the reflex points of the feet.

Arthritis: To help reduce pain associated with the swelling of arthritis, add 20 drops of tea tree oil to 2 ounces of grapeseed or other carrier oil. Massage into affected area 2-3 times a day.

Bad Breath: Rinse with 1 ounce water and 1 drop oil. Do not swallow!

Bladder Infection: In a shallow bath, add 10 – 15 drops of oil. Sit and wash area carefully.

Blisters: Wash area carefully, then apply as for cuts and wounds.

Boils: Apply a warm washcloth for a few minutes. Then apply a drop or two of oil to the area – the infection should rise to surface and eventually be released.

Bronchial Congestion: Use as directed for Asthma. Add 5 – 10 drops to 1 ounce of carrier oil, and massage into chest and throat 2 – 3 times daily.

Bronchitis: Add 1-2 drops to a pan of hot water and breath in the steam, or massage the oil over the chest.

A NOTE ABOUT CARRIER OILS

In order to effectively use essential oils – not just tea tree oil – it is often necessary to dilute the essential oil in another oil so that it can be easily spread or massaged on the affected area. These oils are called “carrier” oils. Common carrier oils include coconut oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil and others.

Fractionated coconut oil [remains liquid] and grapeseed oil are favorites because they are odorless and in the case of fractionated coconut oil, immune to rancidity. In practical use, any oil can be used if you do not have one of these more therapeutic oils on hand.

The properties of the various carrier oils is beyond the scope of this article but my favorite? Easy. Fractionated coconut oil. Is is relatively inexpensive, odorless and has a long shelf life making it perfect for the survival kit.

THE FINAL WORD

My first experience with tea tree oil occurred in the ’80s when I was faced with a nail fungus that would not go away. The pharmaceutical solutions at the time (and for all I know, even now) were harsh and required frequent monitoring of liver enzymes. For a simple, non-life threatening nail fungus, I chose to pass. After using a topical application of tea tree oil for three months, the fungus was all but gone.

I then became interested in aromatherapy (which uses essential oils). I read every book I could get my hands on and dabbled at creating synergies (a combination of two or more oils that create a chemical compound that is greater than the sum of its individual components). My bible then, and even now, is The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy by Valerie Ann Worwood.

Since then I have used essential oils off and on for a variety of woes and have never been disappointed. My recommendation is that you pick up a few essential oils – and especially some tea tree oil – and start to use them now to supplement any other remedies that you are using to keep your family and your home in tip top shape.

Natural Immunity Remedies

Naturopathic Protocol for Immune System Health and Health Maintenance

By John Strangis

have compiled this list of items which could be beneficial towards your health. If you are feeling sick, try this naturopathic protocol. If you are not sick, it is still a great idea to include all or at least some of the items below for general health maintenance purposes.

Don’t forget, moderate exercise, both aerobic and anaerobic, is great to practice while following a natural approach for your heath.

1. Garlic – The health benefits of garlic are well known. It possesses antiviral, antibacterial, anti cancer and immune boosting properties. If you are sick, consume raw garlic, it can be mixed in salads or salsas if you feel uncomfortable eating it raw. Consume at least 3-4 cloves with every meal. If you cannot stomach it, cut the garlic into pieces and take with a glass of water just as if you were taking a pill.

2. Kale – Extremely nutritious cruciferous vegetable, good to give your body all it needs to fight infection and more. The easiest and most tastiest way to eat kale would be to make some kale chips. Remove middle stems from the kale and cut the leaves into pieces coat with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste, then spread on a cooking tray and place in an oven preheated at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.

3. Olive leaf – Taking olive leaf extract which you can buy at most health stores is excellent. Olive leaf contains natural antioxidants, it is a potent full spectrum antibiotic and antiviral (it contains a natural reverse transcriptase inhibitor). It naturally strengthens the immune system. If you have access to an olive tree, cut off a few branches, dry the leaves and make a tea with them. Bring water to a boil, turn the heat off and add 1 tbsp of crumbled dry olive leaves. Let steep for 15 minutes, add honey or any other natural sweetener to taste. Drink 3 to 4 cups a day for optimum immune system strengthening.

Feeling sick? Try my cinnamon and honey olive leaf tea.

Olive leaf boosts the immune system, is a full spectrum antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal. High in antioxidants and great for cardiovascular health. It even protects you from radiation!

The combination of honey and cinnamon has been used for centuries in both traditional Chinese and Ayurveda, a system of healing founded 5000 years ago in India. The two ingredients with unique healing abilities have a long history as a home remedy. Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices known to mankind and honey’s popularity has continued throughout history. Cinnamon’s essential oils and honey’s enzyme that produces hydrogen peroxide qualify the two “anti-microbial” foods with the ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi. Both are used not just as a beverage flavoring and medicine, but also as an embalming agent and are used as alternatives to traditional food preservatives due to their effective antimicrobial properties.

For one cup of tea you will need:

1 cup fluoride free filtered water
1 tbsp dried and crushed olive leaves
2 tbsp organic honey
1 tsp organic cinnamon

Bring the water to a boil, add the olive leaves and steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain the leaves from the liquid and add to a cup. Add the honey and cinnamon, stir until the honey has dissolved.

Drink 3 – 4 cups a day for optimal results.

4. Shiitake mushrooms – Contains a natural protease inhibitor, boosts the immune system and is a full spectrum antibiotic. Contains anticancer properties. Add a few into your food.

5. Maitake mushrooms – Great for immune strength, add them into your food just as you would do shiitake mushrooms.

6. Ginger – powerful anti-inflammatory and great for the immune system. Works as a great anti-emetic if you are suffering from nausea or vomiting. Very versatile root and tasty to add into many dishes.

7. Miso – Make some miso soup, very easy to make and full of healthy benefits. Miso is a fermented food and as such, strengthens the immune system by replenishing the supply of beneficial bacteria within your intestinal flora. Strengthens the quality of blood and lymph fluid. Aids in the digestion and assimilation of other foods in the intestines. Contains all essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. Full of good antioxidants and even protects you from radiation damage.

Fermented foods such as miso, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut etc and probiotics are essential in restoring or maintaining a healthy gut flora. Include in your diet the fermented or probiotic foods of your choice.

8. Water – This is obvious. Drink plenty of fluids when sick to replenish the fluids your body is losing while fighting infection…water people, not soda.

9. Rest – Good sleep is part of the healing process, try to get the most rest as possible when sick.

10. Cannabis (please be aware of the cannabis laws in your state or country to make sure you are not breaking the law while using this medicine) – The ultimate healing plant. Cannabis can be smoked, consumed in edibles or as a juice. Better yet, if you have the possibility of making some cannabis oil (also known as Rick Simpson Oil, make it and use it according to the guidelines specified by Rick Simpson. For more information, visit Rick Simpson’s page on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rick-Simpson or visit http://phoenixtears.ca/

11. Coconut oil – The health benefits of coconut oil include hair care, skin care, stress relief, maintaining cholesterol levels, weight loss, increased immunity, proper digestion and metabolism, relief from kidney problems, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, immune deficiency and cancer, dental care, and bone strength. These benefits of oil can be attributed to the presence of lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid, and its properties such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial and soothing properties.

12. Omega 3 fatty acids – Get your daily supply of essential fatty acids which are a very powerful antioxidant from krill oil, fish oil or better yet, hemp seed or flax oil.

13. N-Acetyl Cysteine – A precursor for glutathione, the master antioxidant. A very powerful immune system booster and responsible for detoxification and regulation of many important systems within the body.

14. Echinacea – This wonderful flower possesses powerful immune system strengthening properties and many other medicinal benefits. It has also been proven effective against radiation. This herb also provides anti-candida benefits. It supports your immune system in the fight against candida as well as other infections. Purchase it in supplement or tea form, or grow your own and make the medicine yourself.

15. Lysine – An essential amino acid. L-Lysine is a necessary building block for all protein in the body. L-Lysine plays a major role in calcium absorption; building muscle protein; recovering from surgery or sports injuries; and the body’s production of hormones, enzymes, and antibodies. Purchase L-Lysine supplements or choose to include the following foods into your diet.

1. Soak 3 average sized non GE/GMO lemons for about 10 minutes in water with some vinegar or plenty of sea salt added. Then scrub each lemon to rid it of whatever the growers have sprayed on it.

2. Cut the lemons with skin and seeds in pieces and put them in a high powered blender.

3. Add 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

4. Add 3 tablespoons of non GE/GMO garlic

5. Add 3 tablespoons of non GE/GMO ginger (double this amount for people with lung problems / asthma)

6. Add 1 teaspoons of cold pressed hemp seed oil (double for epilepsy & nervous diseases)

7. Add 1 teaspoons of cold pressed flax seed oil

8. Add 1 teaspoons of turmeric powder

9. Add 3 tablespoons of aloe vera extract

10. Add 3 tablespoons of a natural multivitamin/ multi mineral supplement

11. Add ¼ teaspoon of stevia powder.

12. Add 3 cups of ozone enriched filtered water or fresh water if ozone enriched is not available.

13. Blend for 3-4 minutes or until smooth

14. Drink 1/3 in the morning, 1/3 after lunch and 1/3 in the evening.

Repeat this for 6 to 24 weeks non stop, depending on when you feel that you have fully recovered. Then you can maintain your health by eating organic and wholesome. You can also use this juice for maintenance by having one bottle twice a month. A high powered blender must be used in order to achieve a smooth consistency.

17. Milk Thistle – Milk thistle has been reported to have protective effects on the liver and to greatly improve its function. It is typically used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), toxin-induced liver damage including the prevention of severe liver damage from Amanita phalloides (‘death cap’ mushroom poisoning), and gallbladder disorders. Along with milk thistle you may also consider dandelion root and artichoke, they also possess great liver detoxing and repairing properties.

18. Ozone – Ozone or O3 is a highly charged oxygen molecule with increased oxygenating properties. It is often administered intravenously, or by injection, though it can be vaporized and inhaled or taken in through anal and vaginal openings. There is some use of ozone by U.S. dentists and medical doctors to prevent infections during surgical procedures, but the FDA taboo for curing with ozone remains.

Active Oxygen’s therapeutic remedial uses are extensive and growing daily. All bacterial, viral and fungal infections are eliminated by Active Oxygen therapy. Heart disease, angina, arteriosclerosis, gangrene, senile dementia, ulcers, varicose veins, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, diabetes, all forms of cancer, Parkinson’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, immune deficiency, allergies and asthma are just a few of the conditions that are regularly treated with Active Oxygen.

Active Oxygen allegedly reverses AIDS-related opportunist infections including pulmonary infections such as pneumocytis carinii pneumonia, pulmonary toxoplasmosis, bronchopulmonary candidiasis, pulmonary cryptococcosis, pulmonary and disseminated histoplasmosis, mycobacterium avium complex, cytomegaloviru and herpes simplex, pneumonia, tuberculosis, nocardiosis, pyogenic bacterial pneumonia, and lymphoid interstitial pneumonia.

You may purchase ozone generators for your drinking water and for the air in your home or car as well! Purchase one today and start ozonating! Ozonated water has a wonderful side effect associated with it: it speeds the ripening of vegetables and improves shelf life!

19. Naringenin – Naringenin is a flavanone, a type of flavonoid, that is considered to have a bioactive effect on human health as antioxidant, free radical scavenger, anti-inflammatory, carbohydrate metabolism promoter, and immune system modulator. It is the predominant flavanone in grapefruit. Narigenin has been helpful to some people with hepatitis c.

Biological effects
This substance has also been shown to reduce oxidative damage to DNA in vitro. Scientists exposed cells to 80 micromoles of naringenin per liter, for 24 hours, and found that the amount of hydroxyl damage to the DNA was reduced by 24% in that very short period of time.

Naringenin found in grapefruit juice has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the human cytochrome P450 isoform CYP1A2, which can change pharmacokinetics in a human (or orthologous) host of several popular drugs in an adverse manner, even resulting in carcinogens of otherwise harmless substances.

Naringenin has also been shown to reduce hepatitis C virus production by infected hepatocytes (liver cells) in cell culture. This seem to be secondary to Naringenin ability to inhibit the secretion of very-low-density lipoprotein by the cells. The antiviral effects of naringenin are currently under clinical investigation.

Naringenin seems to protect LDLR-deficient mice from the obesity effects of a high-fat diet.

Naringenin lowers the plasma and hepatic cholesterol concentrations by suppressing HMG-CoA reductase and ACAT in rats fed a high-cholesterol diet.

Sources and bioavailability
It can be found in grapefruits, oranges and tomatoes (skin).
This bioflavonoid is difficult to absorb on oral ingestion. In the best-case scenario, only 15% of ingested naringenin will get absorbed in the human gastrointestinal tract. A full glass of orange juice will supply about enough naringenin to achieve a blood plasma concentration of about 0.5 micromoles per liter.
The naringenin-7-glucoside form seems less bioavailable than the aglycol form.

Grapefruit juice can provide much higher plasma concentrations of naringenin than orange juice.
Also found in grapefruit is the related compound Kaempferol, which has a hydroxyl group next to the ketone group.
Naringenin can be absorbed from cooked tomato paste.

Use naringenin in suppliment form or eat foods which can provide your body with it.

20. Oregano oil – A powerful natural antimicrobial agent. The oil of the wild oregano plant has been shown to kill unwanted bacteria, fungus, yeast, parasites and viruses. It’s a powerful antihistamine. New research is finding that oil of oregano is as effective against colitis as prescription drugs without the harmful side effects. It is also able to regenerate liver cells.

The greatest health conspiracy of all time: making you believe you can’t heal without medical intervention

(NaturalNews) The newest episode of “Awakenings” reveals what I call the greatest health conspiracy of all time: the institutionalized effort prevent you from realizing that you are born with all the programming you need to create perfect health and even heal yourself of deadly disease.

Even though this universal, fundamental truth is undeniable, nearly every modern institution of medicine, food, science and media tries to convince you that we’re all born as “defects” requiring medical intervention to be “healthy.”

The truth is far more empowering: You are born as a complete, empowered human being, requiring no injections, medications or interventions to achieve and express perfect health!

Click here to listen to this 10-minute episode of Awakenings.

Here’s some of what you’ll learn in this episode:

• The truth you are not told about how to be healthy.

• Why powerful corporations and for-profit interests want you to suppress your health and stay diseased and confused.

• How toxic chemicals, heavy metals, GMOs and other poisons suppress your body and mind, keeping you enslaved in a system of failed medicine.

• Why your body was programmed to express perfect health from the day you were born!

• How to nourish your natural spontaneous healing potential by activating your inner healing code.

• Which toxins are most dangerous to avoid.

• Which nutrients are most commonly lacking in modern humans.

• Why fruits and vegetables contain thousands of powerful medicines and compounds that can prevent and even treat disease.

• Why Big Pharma won’t reveal the truth about anti-cancer compounds in fruits and vegetables.
