Do you think you are psychic enough to predict your future health? Most people would answer, ‘of course not’ but with a new science called biontology, we can literally measure the light stored in our DNA and determine our probable state of well-being and vitality.
If having a ‘light-body’ sounds like new age mumbo jumbo to you, you might reconsider after reading further. According to scientists like Alfred Fritz-Popp and Pjotr Garjajev, along with physicists who have studied medicine like Johan Boswinkle, biophotons are the ‘light’ we exude from our own bodies at very weak levels which are just beyond the visible spectrum. They are in fact, the sub-quark level organizing force of all life – animal, plant and human alike. They precede any biochemical reaction in the body.
“In the classic models of chemistry and physics, light is emitted when an electron is “excited” to a higher energy state and then falls back down to a lower energy state, which occurs any time a chemical reaction takes place. Traditionally, biology and medicine have focused on the biochemical reactions between proteins, DNA, and other molecules within cells. However, a biophoton is always emitted before every biochemical reaction.”
One device that has come from Biontology science, a biophotonic scanner, has already proven to be very helpful. The scanner is essentially a way to measure your DNA’s own light, and can determine your future health. By sending a laser into your palm, the device measures carotenoid pigments in your cells. The laser can determine if you are eating as you should, or your lifestyle is supporting your overall good health. This is one of the earliest main-stream medical uses for the scanner, but there are edgier ways that the science of biophotons can help us.
There are other studies conducted recently by scientists that have shown that human beings are ‘light beings.’ Scientists have been able to utilize this knowledge for practical purposes, and have even been able to alter the neuro-communication in the brains of rats utilizing biophotonic energy and make the redblood cells of human’s healthier. There are multiple possible uses for this technology, including raising healthier agriculture and even keeping foods fresh longer without having to resort to the use of antibiotics and preservatives. Most importantly, we can repair our own cells, which have been damaged by poor diet, a toxic environment and a polluted food supply.
The science is newly emerging and quite different than anything we are used to, but perhaps it will grow with success and prove useful as time passes.
J. Richardson, Prevent Disease, Guest | Your entire existence…all matter, all life, all experiences–everything owes its existence in the physical world to frequency. Absolutely everything is frequency. You cannot have an experience on this planet without attracting it through frequency. Every emotion, including love and hate tunes into a specific frequency. Health has a frequency. Disease has frequency. Your organs are each tuned to a specific frequency as is your entire body which resonates at its own frequency. You are a symphony of frequencies while you project yourself through this universe and create your physical reality. You are a master of your energy, and thus you are able to control everything you are, everything you do, everything you experience. From the day you are born until the day you die, nothing will ever change the fact that you are both a frequency emitter and receiver in flux with your internal and external environment.
DNA possesses two structural characteristics of fractal antennas, electronic conduction and self symmetry. Electrical conduction allows the movement of electrically charged particles within the body and that flow produces our life force.
Life itself as we know it is inextricably interwoven with geometric forms, from the angles of atomic bonds in the molecules of the amino acids, to the helical spirals of DNA, to the spherical prototype of the cell, to the first few cells of an organism which assume vesical, tetrahedral, and star (double) tetrahedral forms prior to the diversification of tissues for different physiological functions.
The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snow flakes, pine cones, flower petals, diamond crystals, the branching of trees, a nautilus shell, the star we spin around, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms as we know them emerge out of timeless geometric codes.
Our human bodies on this planet all developed with a common geometric progression from one to two to four to eight primal cells and beyond.
The universe is more than 99.999% empty space, including our own bodies. All physical things are made of atoms which are mostly empty space. If the nucleus was the size of a marble, the electrons would be specks of dust a half mile away. Every physical thing has that much empty space in it. Inside that empty space is intelligence and frequency.
Almost everywhere we look, the mineral intelligence embodied within crystalline structures follows a geometry unfaltering in its exactitude. The lattice patterns of crystals all express the principles of mathematical perfection and repetition of a fundamental essence, each with a characteristic spectrum of resonances defined by the angles, lengths and relational orientations of its atomic components.
Golden ratio of segments in 5-pointed star (pentagram) were considered sacred to plato and pythagoras in their mystery schools. Note that each larger (or smaller) section is related by the phi ratio, so that a power series of the golden ratio raised to successively higher (or lower) powers are automatically generated
Fibonacci ratios appear in the ratio of the number of spiral arms in daisies, in the chronology of rabbit populations, in the sequence of leaf patterns as they twist around a branch, and a myriad of places in nature where self-generating patterns are in effect. The sequence is the rational progression towards the irrational number embodied in the quintessential golden ratio.
The world and the universe around us are filled with sacred geometry and the golden ratio. From seashells to the human body, from the cosmos to the atom, all forms are permeated with the shapes found in sacred geometry. While sacred geometry theories can be verified mathematically, it is also a field which holds much interest to many different religious communities who can find that it holds deep spiritual meaning for them. Scientists, archaeologists, mathematicians, and many spiritual seekers study sacred geometry as well.
The human genome is packed with at least four million gene switches that reside in bits of DNA that once were dismissed as “junk” but it turns out that so-called junk DNA plays critical roles in controlling how cells, organs and other tissues behave. The discovery, considered a major medical and scientific breakthrough, has enormous implications for human health and consciousness because many complex diseases appear to be caused by tiny changes in hundreds of gene switches.
As scientists delved into the “junk” — parts of the DNA that are not actual genes containing instructions for proteins — they discovered a complex system that controls genes. At least 80 percent of this DNA is active and needed. Another 15-17 percent has higher functions scientists are still decoding.
Most of the molecules in the body are electrical dipoles. These dipoles electronically function like transducers in that they are able to turn acoustic waves into electrical waves and electrical waves into acoustic waves.
A number of membrane proteins as well as DNA consist of helical coils, which may allow them to electronically function as inductor coils. Biological tissues may possess superconducting properties. If certain membrane proteins and the DNA actually function as electrical inductors they may enable the cell to transiently produce very high electrical voltages.
Chronic disease occurs when voltage drops below a certain voltage. Cells then don’t have enough energy to work correctly and amount of oxygen in cells drops, switching from aerobic (oxygen- available) metabolism to anaerobic (oxygen diminished) metabolism.
The natural properties of biomolecular structures enables cell components and whole cells to oscillate and interact resonantly with other cells. The cells of the body and cellular components possess the ability to function as electrical resonators.
Professor H. Frohlich has predicted that the fundamental oscillation in cell membranes occurs at frequencies of the order of 100 GHz and that biological systems possess the ability to create and utilize coherent oscillations and respond to external oscillations.
Because cell membranes are composed of dielectric materials a cell will behave as dielectric resonator and will produce an evanescent electromagnetic field in the space around itself. This field does not radiate energy but is capable of interacting with similar systems.
The applications of certain frequencies by frequency generating devices can enhance or interfere with cellular resonance and cellular metabolic and electrical functions. The changes in the degree that water is structured in a cell or in the ECM will affect the configurations and liquid crystal properties of proteins, cell membranes, organelle membranes and DNA.
Healthy tissues have more structured water than unhealthy tissues. Clinicians who recognize this fact have found that certain types of music, toning, chanting, tuning forks, singing bowls, magnetic waters, certain types of frequency generators, phototherapy treatments and homeopathic preparations can improve water structuring in the tissues and health when they are correctly utilized. Electricity, charge carriers and electrical properties of cells.
The cells of the body are composed of matter. Matter itself is composed of atoms, which are mixtures of negatively charged electrons, positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons. When an electron is forced out of its orbit around the nucleus of an atom the electron’s action is known as electricity. An electron, an atom, or a material with an excess of electrons has a negative charge.
There are multiple structures in cells that act as electronic components. If biological tissues and components of biological tissues can receive, transduce and transmit electric, acoustic, magnetic, mechanical and thermal vibrations then this may help explain such phenomena as:
1. Biological reactions to atmospheric electromagnetic and ionic disturbance (sunspots, thunder storms and earthquakes).
2. Biological reactions to the earth’s geomagnetic and Schumann fields.
3. Biological reactions to hands on healing.
4. Biological responses to machines that produce electric, magnetic, photonic and acoustical vibrations (frequency generators).
5. Medical devices that detect, analyze and alter biological electromagnetic fields (the biofield).
6. How techniques such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and laser (photonic) acupuncture can result in healing effects and movement of Chi?
7. How body work such as deep tissue massage, rolfing, physical therapy, chiropractics can promote healing?
8. Holographic communication.
9. How neural therapy works
10. How electrodermal screening works
11. How some individuals have the capability of feeling, interpreting and correcting alterations in another individual’s biofield
Electric fields need to be measured not just as strong or weak, but also as low carriers or high carriers of information.
The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. The bottom line was: “Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation.” This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself.
Because electric fields conventionally defined as strong thermally may be low in biological information content and electric fields conventionally considered as thermally weak or non-ionizing may be high in biological information content if the proper receiving equipment exists in biological tissues. Weak electromagnetic fields are: bioenergetic, bioinformational, non-ionizing and non-thermal and exert measurable biological effects. Weak electromagnetic fields have effects on biological organisms, tissues and cells that are highly frequency specific and the dose response curve is non linear. Because the effects of weak electromagnetic fields are non-linear, fields in the proper frequency and amplitude windows may produce large effects, which may be beneficial or harmful.
Homeopathy is an example of use weak field with a beneficial electromagnetic effect. Examples of a thermally weak, but high informational content fields of the right frequency range are visible light and healing touch. Biological tissues have electronic components that can receive, transduce, transmit weak electronic signals that are actually below thermal noise.
Biological organisms use weak electromagnetic fields (electric and photonic) to communicate with all parts of themselves An electric field can carry information through frequency and amplitude fluctuations.
Biological organisms are holograms.
Those healthy biological organisms have coherent biofields and unhealthy organisms have field disruptions and unintegrated signals. It is said that frequency and thus vibration is the variable of dependence. The genetic wave information from DNA, recorded within the polarizations of connected photons, being quantum-nonlocal, constitutes a broadband radio wave spectrum correlated by means of polarizations with the photons.
There is at present on our planet, a great schism in belief regarding resonant frequency. There are those who believe that yes, we all vibrate to the same frequency, whether it is the vibrational rate of the energy points or the vibrational rate of the liver. And many of these are people who believe they have indeed figured out the vibrational rate of the various organs, other bodily parts and etheric fields have invented instruments, made tapes or created machines which will somehow project the correct resonant frequency back in to the body to heal what ails you.
Then, there are others who believe that we are all unique vibratory beings; that the frequencies of our organs and bodily systems may be different and are not the same.
One fact will always remain…we are all energy bounded by frequency. How we interpret ourselves and our universe is guided by the one elusive concept that scientists still find mysterious, yet intriguing. Until that day comes when more research is devoted to how frequencies affect our entire existence, the answers to those mysteries will remain unanswered.

What will happen to the healers once everyone is healed?
In a time of great planetary transformation, great upheaval, great healing and ‘up-leveling’ we see more healers rising from their own ancestral memories, … (to) own archaic soul memories as healers. I am seeing more and more healing modalities pouring through humanity all the time. We are being given modalities for healing our DNA for integrating our higher expressions of self into the earth body, for healing past emotional trauma, healing and releasing past life trauma and karma, we are undergoing spiritual surgery, template level re-organization, we are witnessing the up-rising of the feminine, the healing of the collective feminine, and the shifting of culture.
If you are alive today, take heart. You are a warrior of the soul. You incarnated into this physical vehicle you call a body because you knew the beautiful thrill of this 4th dimensional existence and your soul knew and wanted a front seat for the amazing healing and transformation we are now beholding.
In the past, the village had one healer, or a few. And they would never call themselves the healer, they would never call themselves the shaman- only would they be called such a name by their community. But the time has call to call yourself. The time has come to claim your true identity, to name yourself. Yes, I am the healer. Yes, I am the shaman of my soul, ushering myself between dimensions, reclaiming the lost fragments of who I really am, altering my own state like a finely crafted dial on a beautiful physical mechanism holding my most precious of spirit. Take heart warrior spirit, you are the healer. You are every bit the healer.
You are now healing with sound, you are healing with food, you are speaking to the water, you are speaking to the earth, you are communicating with the elements, you are recognising your soul family who may not inhabit physical human forms, you are at one with the animals, you peer into your own eyes in the bathroom mirror and see the cosmos within yourself. Yes, you are the healer. And it is time. The time has come for you to step forth as the great healer of your own life, if you have not already, and to recognize yourself as such. To certify YOURSELF, which is a privilege no one else can have- only you can certify yourself and grant yourself the power of healing, for self and for others.
As we see humanity moving towards a collective population of healers, a culture of healers, a world of healers, the question arises, what is the fate for us? Will we be healers forever? Will our job one day end?
For light-workers and healers of all types, we are the spiritual equivalent of the volunteers who go and rescue the oil laden ducks after a poisonous devastating oil spill. We are on the front lines, we are in the thick of it. We are clearing out the darkest of distortions, the heaviest of self-loathing, the depths of despair and guilt, the greatest extent of having forgotten who we really are. As healers, by identifying ourselves as healers, as light-workers, we therefore tune ourselves into this reality, willingly, intentionally, volunteering to become a master artist, a master practitioner in the very medium itself of light. We chose this task, this creation, this story, this adventure, this remembering. We, through our love, through our hands, through our touch, through our modalities, through our intentions, our art, our life, we are literally conducting light through our own vessels into this plane to illuminate every point on this infinite grid of consciousness.
I have seen that the future of healing is also the past. You see, there was a time far in the past, but if you can allow yourself to understand, this construct of ‘past’ is also the future. Time is not linear, it is cyclical, and we are rounding a new resonance in this spiral. Yes, we are returning to our rightful place in existence- the place of our ancestors and the place of our descendants. One day the tide of pure light will, in a sense, completely tip and when it does, the distortion, the forgetfulness, the shame, the hindrance of the spirit, will be gone; And then what of the healers?
Once we have tuned fully into this, what will the healers then do? We will do what we have always done. We must understand that healing is not the fixing of something broken, it is the integration of the parts back into the whole. And this is the paradox, stop waiting. There is no waiting. There is no peak. Everything in creation is always expanding, infinitely expanding. There is only ever more healing to be had. And once the light is allowed to pour through un-restricted, we can be freed of our work with the sad energy of distortion.
How do we know this? We need look no further than the myriad of other races and civilizations throughout the universe to catch a glimpse of the imminent reality of more natural, expansive, and higher-vibrational ways of existing. Do you not think that the Sirians, the Arcturians, the Angelic realm, the Pleiadians, and so on, do you not think they themselves are also healers? Of course they are.
In the constant unfoldment and expansion of the universe, there is ALWAYS more. I repeat: there is ALWAYS MORE. There is always more expansion; there is always more healing in the sense that there is always more to discover and to integrate with the understanding that all the exotic far reaches of existence are still always parts of the self. “Healing does not happen by the denial of things but with the integration of things.”
The future of healing is pure creativity. The future of healing is play. The future of healing is exploration. The future of healing is the natural state of being in control of one’s reality and putting things out of balance just to put them back, just because you can. This is what humanity has long identified as ‘God’ or ‘Gods’, but it is your true nature as a facet of God.
Rest assured, in the future, which is the past, we as past Venusians, past Atlantians, past Mayans, past this that or whatever, we as HUMANS as spirits in whatever form will only ever find our role as healers ever more exciting, ever more artistic, ever more expansive and creative and necessary.
Rest assured warrior spirits, rest assured heart warriors, your time is never ‘coming’ your time is always now. You may give yourself permission to choose yourself. Every part of your being is necessary and profoundly perfect and we thank you for your light.

The Shamanic View of Mental Illness
In the shamanic view, mental illness signals “the birth of a healer,” explains Malidoma Patrice Somé. Thus, mental disorders are spiritual emergencies, spiritual crises, and need to be regarded as such to aid the healer in being born.
What those in the West view as mental illness, the Dagara people regard as “good news from the other world.” The person going through the crisis has been chosen as a medium for a message to the community that needs to be communicated from the spirit realm. “Mental disorder, behavioral disorder of all kinds, signal the fact that two obviously incompatible energies have merged into the same field,” says Dr. Somé. These disturbances result when the person does not get assistance in dealing with the presence of the energy from the spirit realm.
One of the things Dr. Somé encountered when he first came to the United States in 1980 for graduate study was how this country deals with mental illness. When a fellow student was sent to a mental institute due to “nervous depression,” Dr. Somé went to visit him.
“I was so shocked. That was the first time I was brought face to face with what is done here to people exhibiting the same symptoms I’ve seen in my village.” What struck Dr. Somé was that the attention given to such symptoms was based on pathology, on the idea that the condition is something that needs to stop. This was in complete opposition to the way his culture views such a situation. As he looked around the stark ward at the patients, some in straitjackets, some zoned out on medications, others screaming, he observed to himself, “So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture. What a loss! What a loss that a person who is finally being aligned with a power from the other world is just being wasted.”
Another way to say this, which may make more sense to the Western mind, is that we in the West are not trained in how to deal or even taught to acknowledge the existence of psychic phenomena, the spiritual world. In fact, psychic abilities are denigrated. When energies from the spiritual world emerge in a Western psyche, that individual is completely unequipped to integrate them or even recognize what is happening. The result can be terrifying. Without the proper context for and assistance in dealing with the breakthrough from another level of reality, for all practical purposes, the person is insane. Heavy dosing with anti-psychotic drugs compounds the problem and prevents the integration that could lead to soul development and growth in the individual who has received these energies.
On the mental ward, Dr Somé saw a lot of “beings” hanging around the patients, “entities” that are invisible to most people but that shamans and psychics are able to see. “They were causing the crisis in these people,” he says. It appeared to him that these beings were trying to get the medications and their effects out of the bodies of the people the beings were trying to merge with, and were increasing the patients’ pain in the process. “The beings were acting almost like some kind of excavator in the energy field of people. They were really fierce about that. The people they were doing that to were just screaming and yelling,” he said. He couldn’t stay in that environment and had to leave.
In the Dagara tradition, the community helps the person reconcile the energies of both worlds–”the world of the spirit that he or she is merged with, and the village and community.” That person is able then to serve as a bridge between the worlds and help the living with information and healing they need. Thus, the spiritual crisis ends with the birth of another healer. “The other world’s relationship with our world is one of sponsorship,” Dr. Somé explains. “More often than not, the knowledge and skills that arise from this kind of merger are a knowledge or a skill that is provided directly from the other world.”
The beings who were increasing the pain of the inmates on the mental hospital ward were actually attempting to merge with the inmates in order to get messages through to this world. The people they had chosen to merge with were getting no assistance in learning how to be a bridge between the worlds and the beings’ attempts to merge were thwarted. The result was the sustaining of the initial disorder of energy and the aborting of the birth of a healer.
“The Western culture has consistently ignored the birth of the healer,” states Dr. Somé. “Consequently, there will be a tendency from the other world to keep trying as many people as possible in an attempt to get somebody’s attention. They have to try harder.” The spirits are drawn to people whose senses have not been anesthetized. “The sensitivity is pretty much read as an invitation to come in,” he notes.
Those who develop so-called mental disorders are those who are sensitive, which is viewed in Western culture as oversensitivity. Indigenous cultures don’t see it that way and, as a result, sensitive people don’t experience themselves as overly sensitive. In the West, “it is the overload of the culture they’re in that is just wrecking them,” observes Dr. Somé. The frenetic pace, the bombardment of the senses, and the violent energy that characterize Western culture can overwhelm sensitive people.
Schizophrenia and Foreign Energy
With schizophrenia, there is a special “receptivity to a flow of images and information, which cannot be controlled,” stated Dr. Somé. “When this kind of rush occurs at a time that is not personally chosen, and particularly when it comes with images that are scary and contradictory, the person goes into a frenzy.”
What is required in this situation is first to separate the person’s energy from the extraneous foreign energies, by using shamanic practice (what is known as a “sweep”) to clear the latter out of the individual’s aura. With the clearing of their energy field, the person no longer picks up a flood of information and so no longer has a reason to be scared and disturbed, explains Dr. Somé.
Then it is possible to help the person align with the energy of the spirit being attempting to come through from the other world and give birth to the healer. The blockage of that emergence is what creates problems. “The energy of the healer is a high-voltage energy,” he observes. “When it is blocked, it just burns up the person. It’s like a short-circuit. Fuses are blowing. This is why it can be really scary, and I understand why this culture prefers to confine these people. Here they are yelling and screaming, and they’re put into a straitjacket. That’s a sad image.” Again, the shamanic approach is to work on aligning the energies so there is no blockage, “fuses” aren’t blowing, and the person can become the healer they are meant to be.
It needs to be noted at this point, however, that not all of the spirit beings that enter a person’s energetic field are there for the purposes of promoting healing. There are negative energies as well, which are undesirable presences in the aura. In those cases, the shamanic approach is to remove them from the aura, rather than work to align the discordant energies
Alex: Crazy in the USA, Healer in Africa
To test his belief that the shamanic view of mental illness holds true in the Western world as well as in indigenous cultures, Dr. Somé took a mental patient back to Africa with him, to his village. “I was prompted by my own curiosity to find out whether there’s truth in the universality that mental illness could be connected with an alignment with a being from another world,” says Dr. Somé.
Alex was an 18-year-old American who had suffered a psychotic break when he was 14. He had hallucinations, was suicidal, and went through cycles of dangerously severe depression. He was in a mental hospital and had been given a lot of drugs, but nothing was helping. “The parents had done everything–unsuccessfully,” says Dr. Somé. “They didn’t know what else to do.”
With their permission, Dr. Somé took their son to Africa. “After eight months there, Alex had become quite normal, Dr. Somé reports. He was even able to participate with healers in the business of healing; sitting with them all day long and helping them, assisting them in what they were doing with their clients . . . . He spent about four years in my village.” Alex stayed by choice, not because he needed more healing. He felt, “much safer in the village than in America.”
To bring his energy and that of the being from the spiritual realm into alignment, Alex went through a shamanic ritual designed for that purpose, although it was slightly different from the one used with the Dagara people. “He wasn’t born in the village, so something else applied. But the result was similar, even though the ritual was not literally the same,” explains Dr. Somé. The fact that aligning the energy worked to heal Alex demonstrated to Dr. Somé that the connection between other beings and mental illness is indeed universal.
After the ritual, Alex began to share the messages that the spirit being had for this world. Unfortunately, the people he was talking to didn’t speak English (Dr. Somé was away at that point). The whole experience led, however, to Alex’s going to college to study psychology. He returned to the United States after four years because “he discovered that all the things that he needed to do had been done, and he could then move on with his life.”
The last that Dr. Somé heard was that Alex was in graduate school in psychology at Harvard. No one had thought he would ever be able to complete undergraduate studies, much less get an advanced degree.
Dr. Somé sums up what Alex’s mental illness was all about: “He was reaching out. It was an emergency call. His job and his purpose was to be a healer. He said no one was paying attention to that.”
After seeing how well the shamanic approach worked for Alex, Dr. Somé concluded that spirit beings are just as much an issue in the West as in his community in Africa. “Yet the question still remains, the answer to this problem must be found here, instead of having to go all the way overseas to seek the answer. There has to be a way in which a little bit of attention beyond the pathology of this whole experience leads to the possibility of coming up with the proper ritual to help people.
Longing for Spiritual Connection
A common thread that Dr. Somé has noticed in “mental” disorders in the West is “a very ancient ancestral energy that has been placed in stasis, that finally is coming out in the person.” His job then is to trace it back, to go back in time to discover what that spirit is. In most cases, the spirit is connected to nature, especially with mountains or big rivers, he says.
In the case of mountains, as an example to explain the phenomenon, “it’s a spirit of the mountain that is walking side by side with the person and, as a result, creating a time-space distortion that is affecting the person caught in it.” What is needed is a merger or alignment of the two energies, “so the person and the mountain spirit become one.” Again, the shaman conducts a specific ritual to bring about this alignment.
Dr. Somé believes that he encounters this situation so often in the United States because “most of the fabric of this country is made up of the energy of the machine, and the result of that is the disconnection and the severing of the past. You can run from the past, but you can’t hide from it.” The ancestral spirit of the natural world comes visiting. “It’s not so much what the spirit wants as it is what the person wants,” he says. “The spirit sees in us a call for something grand, something that will make life meaningful, and so the spirit is responding to that.”
That call, which we don’t even know we are making, reflects “a strong longing for a profound connection, a connection that transcends materialism and possession of things and moves into a tangible cosmic dimension. Most of this longing is unconscious, but for spirits, conscious or unconscious doesn’t make any difference.” They respond to either.
As part of the ritual to merge the mountain and human energy, those who are receiving the “mountain energy” are sent to a mountain area of their choice, where they pick up a stone that calls to them. They bring that stone back for the rest of the ritual and then keep it as a companion; some even carry it around with them. “The presence of the stone does a lot in tuning the perceptive ability of the person,” notes Dr. Somé. “They receive all kinds of information that they can make use of, so it’s like they get some tangible guidance from the other world as to how to live their life.”
When it is the “river energy,” those being called go to the river and, after speaking to the river spirit, find a water stone to bring back for the same kind of ritual as with the mountain spirit.
“People think something extraordinary must be done in an extraordinary situation like this,” he says. That’s not usually the case. Sometimes it is as simple as carrying a stone.
A Sacred Ritual Approach to Mental Illness
One of the gifts a shaman can bring to the Western world is to help people rediscover ritual, which is so sadly lacking. “The abandonment of ritual can be devastating. From the spiritual view, ritual is inevitable and necessary if one is to live,” Dr. Somé writes in Ritual: Power, Healing, and Community. “To say that ritual is needed in the industrialized world is an understatement. We have seen in my own people that it is probably impossible to live a sane life without it.”
Dr. Somé did not feel that the rituals from his traditional village could simply be transferred to the West, so over his years of shamanic work here, he has designed rituals that meet the very different needs of this culture. Although the rituals change according to the individual or the group involved, he finds that there is a need for certain rituals in general.
One of these involves helping people discover that their distress is coming from the fact that they are “called by beings from the other world to cooperate with them in doing healing work.” Ritual allows them to move out of the distress and accept that calling.
Another ritual need relates to initiation. In indigenous cultures all over the world, young people are initiated into adulthood when they reach a certain age. The lack of such initiation in the West is part of the crisis that people are in here, says Dr. Somé. He urges communities to bring together “the creative juices of people who have had this kind of experience, in an attempt to come up with some kind of an alternative ritual that would at least begin to put a dent in this kind of crisis.”
Another ritual that repeatedly speaks to the needs of those coming to him for help entails making a bonfire, and then putting into the bonfire “items that are symbolic of issues carried inside the individuals . . . It might be the issues of anger and frustration against an ancestor who has left a legacy of murder and enslavement or anything, things that the descendant has to live with,” he explains. “If these are approached as things that are blocking the human imagination, the person’s life purpose, and even the person’s view of life as something that can improve, then it makes sense to begin thinking in terms of how to turn that blockage into a roadway that can lead to something more creative and more fulfilling.”
The example of issues with an ancestors touches on rituals designed by Dr. Somé that address a serious dysfunction in Western society and in the process “trigger enlightenment” in participants. These are ancestral rituals, and the dysfunction they are aimed at is the mass turning-of-the-back on ancestors. Some of the spirits trying to come through, as described earlier, may be “ancestors who want to merge with a descendant in an attempt to heal what they weren’t able to do while in their physical body.”
“Unless the relationship between the living and the dead is in balance, chaos ensues,” he says. “The Dagara believe that, if such an imbalance exists, it is the duty of the living to heal their ancestors. If these ancestors are not healed, their sick energy will haunt the souls and psyches of those who are responsible for helping them.” The rituals focus on healing the relationship with our ancestors, both specific issues of an individual ancestor and the larger cultural issues contained in our past. Dr. Somé has seen extraordinary healing occur at these rituals.
Taking a sacred ritual approach to mental illness rather than regarding the person as a pathological case gives the person affected–and indeed the community at large–the opportunity to begin looking at it from that vantage point too, which leads to “a whole plethora of opportunities and ritual initiative that can be very, very beneficial to everyone present,” states. The use of essential oils for wellness and healing seems to be catching everyone’s attention these days. This is true not only in the prepping and homesteading world, but in the mainstream world of traditional medicine as well.
While it is easy to recommend using essential oils for whatever ails you, the question of which essential oil to use for a specific ailment can be elusive. Let’s face it. Sometimes you have a little problem that you want to solve right now, without resorting to a ton of research.
I am going to make it easy for you. With the assistance of author Rebecca Schiffhauer, I have compiled a go-to list of 20 great ways to use essential oils to solve everyday ailments not only for you, but your pets and children as well.
20 Great Ways to Use Essential Oils
1. Hiccups
Dab some Peppermint on the back of your neck, a little on each side of the spinal cord.
2. Runny nose
Swipe a drop of Lemon down each side of the nose to dry it up. Stay out of the sun afterwards to avoid sunburn.
3. Drowsiness
Combine Peppermint and Wild Orange, apply to the back of the neck, next inhale the oil left on your hands. Or add 4 drops of each to your diffuser.
4. Itchy, irritated eyes
Dab Lavender with a bit of carrier oil on the facial bones surrounding your eyes (careful to keep oil away from eyes). If applying to children, make sure they don’t rub their eyes until oil is absorbed.
5. Allergies
Mix up equal parts of Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint ~ nature’s antibiotic! Apply to bottom of your feet morning and night. Diffuse if possible. Spark Naturals sells a convenient blend called called L.L.P. – short for Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint!
6. Ear Ache/Infection
Combine 2 drops Basil or Melaleuca (aka Tea Tree) with a little carrier oil and rub around the rim of the ear, behind the ear and just inside. Apply several times a day. Note: never drop essential oils directly into the ear.
7. Troubled breathing
Have a bit of chest congestion or asthma? Apply Respire blend on the chest, then cup your hands over your face and breath in the residual Respire blend on it ~ creating a natural “inhaler”.
8. Bad breath
A drop of Peppermint on your tongue and you’re kissable fresh again.
9. Athlete’s foot
Melaleuca works wonders! Apply neat (meaning undiluted) to affected areas twice a day.
10. Toe fungus
Melaleuca to the rescue again. Dab the affected toenail with a saturated q-tip morning and night.
11. Unsightly warts or skin tags
Use a Q-tip to dab one drop of Oregano oil on the affected area morning and night. Oregano is a hot oil so you won’t want to spread it around. Skin tags should fall off in two or three of weeks. Warts will take a bit longer but eventually will disappear.
For kids: Lemon works wonderfully too. Apply morning and night and don’t cover with a Band-Aid; it’s important to let the area breathe. Also, it’s convenient to put the EO in a roll-on bottle so kids can apply themselves…they like taking charge Be careful of too much sun after the application of lemon oil.
12. Cellulite
Pour a bottle of Grapefruit into a 4 oz. bottle of fractionated coconut oil and rub into problem areas after shower or bath. You’ll smell divine and your skin will be so soft.
13. Diaper Rash
Mix up some Diaper Spray: 18 oz. water, 1 tsp. organic body wash, 4 drops Melaleuca, 4 drops Lavender. This is a great diaper rash preventative too! DIY Healing Salve is a wonder for this as well.
14. Fleas on Your Dog
Drip a couple drops of Melaleuca on back of your dog’s collar. Or, tie a bandanna with a few drops of Melaleuca around your dogs neck and watch fleas flee!
15. Dog’s Ear Infection
Place 1 of drop of Melaleuca and carrier oil on a cotton ball, wipe inside of ear several times a day.
16. Dog with Sunburned Nose
Dab a little Lavender with carrier oil on his nose for relief. This works for people too!
17. Muscle Aches
Mix 1 part Amend blend with 1 part fractionated coconut oil as a penetrating, pain relieving massage oil. Add a drop of Birch or Wintergreen for extra strength. Or, try Lemongrass mixed with some DIY Healing Salve.
18. Fever
A few drops of Peppermint mixed with a carrier oil and applied to the torso can drop body temperature by 3 degrees in minutes.
19. Burns
A drop of Lavender will immediately stop the pain and mitigate tissue damage.
20. Heartburn
A couple drops of Peppermint in a small glass of milk will knock out heartburn. Or, try rubbing a few drops of Digest blend over your chest. It really works!
The Final Word
My love affair with essential oils continues. These days I have moved beyond the basics of Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint and Melaleuca (tea tree) and rely on a variety of oils to do various things. They are used for first aid, personal grooming, stress relief, and general health and wellness.
To be honest, three years ago, if someone told me I was going to dump, literally, all of my over-the-counter remedies in favor of essential oils I would have thought “no way”. Clearly, that is exactly what has happened. I now have a large collection of oils that should serve me well for a long time as long and I continue my pursuit of knowledge about these amazing substances.
I know I am not alone. Whenever I write an article extolling the virtues of essential oils, I receive a flurry of emails that reflect a pent up interest in learning more about essential oils and how they can be used to enhance our long term well-being and survival.
(NaturalNews) The newest episode of “Awakenings” reveals what I call the greatest health conspiracy of all time: the institutionalized effort prevent you from realizing that you are born with all the programming you need to create perfect health and even heal yourself of deadly disease.
Even though this universal, fundamental truth is undeniable, nearly every modern institution of medicine, food, science and media tries to convince you that we’re all born as “defects” requiring medical intervention to be “healthy.”
The truth is far more empowering: You are born as a complete, empowered human being, requiring no injections, medications or interventions to achieve and express perfect health!
Imagine if you woke up one morning and realized that you had dormant superhuman abilities that were waiting to be unleashed .
That once you activated these abilities, you could manifest anything you desired in your life, live a life without drama, create your ideal physical body, become immune to dis-ease, and potentially reverse the aging process.
Imagine if you realized that you could actually change your blueprint of life, your DNA, to enable you to expand your creative potential, provide access to your subconscious mind, and become more intuitive, clairvoyant, and know instantly what your purpose is in life.
There is now a process which will assist you to do all these things and more, and it is called DNA Activation.
Most people know that DNA is the ‘blueprint of life’ and is located in every cell of the body. In addition to each chromosome’s 2-strand double helix of DNA, there are an additional 22 etheric strands of DNA available to each human, which have been dormant since the beginning of recorded history. Each additional strand possesses attributes that permit the individual to perform greater human accomplishments. Scientists acknowledge that we currently use only 3% of our current 2-strand DNA. Thus we live in a society where people are often sick, unhappy, stressed out and are totally disconnected with the universe. Most people have to meditate for many years just to have a so-called ‘mystical’ experience, that’s how disconnected we are now. Imagine activating 100% of your 2-strand DNA, plus 22 additional strands! You will go from using 10% of your brain to becoming a multi-dimensional being with psychic, telepathic, and manifestation abilities beyond anything you’ve ever dreamed of. Plus, you will alter the aging process and actually start to rejuvenate to look and feel younger. Your DNA is your blueprint of life and is what controls every single function inside each of your cells. If you change your DNA, you really will change your life.
Think of yourself right now as a person with 2-strands of DNA with only one strand active. You are as a standalone computer with access to only about 16MB of RAM. This means you can only run a few programs, none concurrently, and you are not even connected to the internet. Once you activate your DNA, it’s like you get a DSL connection to the mind of everything, and can access anything you want just by using your intent and intuition.
The portions of the DNA chain that science has presently identified as the “Double Helix”, represent only the surface portions of the chemical, elemental, and electrical components of the active DNA strands. Science has yet to identify the multidimensional spectra of DNA manifestation, and has yet to realize that within the structures of detectable DNA, there are levels of structure and function that direct the operations of the entire genetic blueprint, which are not currently detectable by the contemporary scientific method.
The human DNA imprint will always appear from external analysis, as a 2-strand Double Helix configuration. But what is not understood, is that within the Double Helix there are, and will be progressively more, additional Double Helix strands, which fuse together and add their operational coding into the active DNA imprint. As science evolves into comprehension of the mult-dimensional spectrum, the understanding of the tree structure and function of DNA will progressively advance. We are re-ordering and re-activating portions of the “junk DNA” and stimulating these portions of the DNA into activation.
During your activation, the practitioner usually keeps their hand on your shoulder, to allow for connection and grounding. Your etheric field is worked on, so there is no physical manipulation. You may feel sensations, see images or colors, or feel absolutely nothing. Usually most people notice something different about themselves within a very short time frame. It really depends on how sensitive you are to energy. Some people feel the session very strongly (heat, twitches) as it is happening. Others may feel sleepy. You may notice tingles or some other sensations in the head area (crown chakra). In some cases, people experience a spontaneous physical or emotional healing at the time of the activation. After that, there will be numerous changes in the next few days, weeks and months. Most people experience an increase in energy, and go through a cleansing or a detox process. DNA Activation is an eternal process and you will notice changes throughout your lifetime from these sessions.
The DNA Activation is a huge acceleration step on your personal path of enlightenment, empowerment and personal health. Many experience a greater depth and richness to their emotions. Some speak of heightened creativity, or say that ideas and concepts that were once obscure become clear. Most speak of expanded awareness, greater peace and understanding of the person they already are, along with increased physical energy and improved personal health
DNA activation removes the energetic blockages to you embodying your Higher Self. So consciousness expansion is one of the main benefits. After the sessions, you will be more aware of everything, especially what your purpose is and why you incarnated here at this point in time. You will start to become aware or see things that others cannot see – some of the hidden agendas going on and how to make decisions to help you and your family in the best way possible. Your dormant brain functions will start to become active, especially your pineal gland. This will help to start tapping into your higher senses, and you will be able to use these on a daily basis with practice. Some of the physical benefits reported by clients include thicker hair growth, weight loss and stabilization of desired weight, increased energy, and rejuvenation of various muscles. You will start to see how your body is just a thoughtform as well, and you can change your body more easily with focus, so you won’t have to work out as much. Emotionally, you will go beyond your personal dramas, the aggravation of everyday life. Your body will undergo a detoxification, which will bring old emotional issues to the surface to be released forever, to no longer cause dis-ease and poison the body. You may notice that your dreams are more vivid and that you may release old fears and phobias. You will also experience a renewed sense of confidence and security, and will project that to others, which will allow you to have more fulfilling relationships, increased trust and discernment, and the attraction of soul mates.
Almost everyone also reports much quicker manifestations of that which they desire. When you bring more light into your field, which is what DNA activation does, you increase your frequency. So you attract people, places, events, and things of a similar high frequency.
Spontaneous healings can occur at the time of activations. These usually have to do with acute physical and emotional disorders. There is a purification process that begins to detoxify the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. There have been many clients who have cured themselves of chronic or serious diseases after having the DNA activation.
If you are looking for greater clarity in life and improved health, DNA activation may be the jumpstart you need to achieve this. As with any health practitioner, it is always best to find someone with experience with whom you feel comfortable. If possible, meet with the practitioner prior to making an appointment, to get a feel for who they are as a concerned and caring healer. You can even ask where they received their training. If you feel uncomfortable in their presence, do not commit to an appointment. Keep looking, ask friends or ask other energy healers for referrals.

If you’re dealing with symptoms that no one can diagnose, much less treat effectively, maybe there’s someplace else you’ve yet to look. I’ve been in alternative medicine for twenty years; in 2012 I started attracting clients who had already done everything they and others knew to do for their ailments. Most exhausted all the traditional Western modalities, which led to a bevy of alternative modalities. None of those were successful either, and as it seems to be the natural progression for most, next came more esoteric concepts and therapies. Many entered into what some call the New Thought movement deep and hard. They tried chanting, positive affirmations, and numerous energy medicines, and these too were ineffective. One day in a session it hit me; I was able to intuit that the aches and pains of my client weren’t her own.
Huh?
Everyone I’d seen from that point onward had a remarkable list of can’t-be-coincidence similarities: they were highly sensitive, very empathic, had an unrealistic sense of responsibility for others, and had tried everything to heal but couldn’t. As a medical intuitive I’d been used to identifying underlying causes beyond the physical body that contributed to a pain or illness, but this took it one step further.
I was able to see the pattern. A sense of responsibility was virtually injected into their blood streams from early on. Some actually heard directly, everything from “Sit still and make your grandmother happy” to “I can’t take care of your father, I’ll need you to do it for me while I take care of your brother” and alike. Others sensed that it was their job to hold things together. Many were super sensitive to difficult family dynamics and became the peacemaker. Some tried to entertain family members with musical proficiency, art, or a unique sense of humour. Others could sense emotional difficulties and reached out energetically to heal those in emotional pain. And all had become people pleasers.
If you take a step back for a moment, you can see how feeling responsible for others and having a high degree of empathic abilities can be an unhealthy if not dangerous combination. Empaths by definition take on the thoughts, energy, and characteristics of others, and extreme empathy, combined with an overblown sense of responsibility, can actually manifest in pains and illness that are not their own.
A-HA!
I was then able to intuit a series of steps that over time became more and more powerful. For example, one woman who had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue said she saw dramatic improvements in just four days when nothing else helped in the last ten years. Another released what she called ‘several decades of anxiety’ in just one session. And many have released years of repressed grief and their related symptoms (colon, breathing, skin etc. problems) in just a few sessions.
I know, that sounds ridiculous, but if we’re open to something extraordinary, my belief is that something extraordinary often happens. Is this a panacea? Of course not; there are too many factors to claim guaranteed success – even aspirin doesn’t work the same for everyone. But if you identify with being empathic, intuitive, sensitive, and you’ve had little success elsewhere, why not give this a try?
Understand Responsibilities
I am not responsible for the soul path of another person. Neither are you. You may know this consciously, but odds are really high that you haven’t yet fully embodied this awareness.
The patterns of responsibility start early on. For some, it begins in our first few days in the womb. We know now that if a mother smokes, her baby smokes, too. But what we don’t often recognize is that if a mother is depressed, the baby also shares that chemical imbalance. In our first nine months of life, we grow, expand, and become aware of what’s happening with / within /for / to our mother, including sensing her fear, anger, and grief.
A few years later, if, for example, our mother was depressed or our father was an alcoholic, we sometimes take on responsibility for those conditions. That often includes blaming ourselves: “If I were a better child, Dad wouldn’t drink and Mom would be happier, too.” Many of us began doing what others wanted us to do in order to be loved and perceived as good. This can manifest in ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ emulation to align with our caregiver(s) actions. For example, a child may become compassionate like his mother or stubborn like his father. Ironically, because the actions are in alignment with what the parent may say or do, the child is then called ‘good’. Being good may get us love and attention, but getting love because of what we do or don’t do is the very definition of conditional love, a very low vibration. This creates an unhealthy pattern that sets up all kinds of defeatist patterns for relationships later in life. As children, especially, we wished others around us to be happy and well. So we danced, acted extra ‘silly’, and eventually told jokes, or used art, or good grades, or making dance or sports teams to get love or make others proud of us – to alleviate the fear, anger, and grief of our caregivers.
The subconscious desire to heal one or both parents or caregivers becomes pervasive throughout life and expresses itself in a variety of ways. Many of us receive positive praise for putting others first, and some of us go into careers and manage to get paid for facilitating healing (of any type) in others. The overweight parents raise the son or daughter who wants to become a nutritionist or personal trainer. The narcissistic father raises the daughter who becomes a psychologist, social worker, or other form of counselling practitioner in order (subconsciously) to understand what makes him tick. The superficially inclined parent raises a child who wants to explore and go deeper, and who often becomes an academic or intuitive – a seeker of truth. The grief-stricken mother gives birth to the child who becomes an energy healer or a comedian.
The sense of responsibility that most babies learn, when combined with being an empath, makes us absorb the problems and take on the imbalances in others. We typically try to heal others ahead of maintaining a healthy practice of self-care. Some of us burn out after barely a decade in a field that, if chosen and performed with awareness and use of the steps I’m writing about, could last a lifetime. If we get paid to be a healer of any type, or receive any other form of strong positive reinforcement, it’s even harder to let go of the learned sense of responsibility from infancy. Our ego identification is with being a helper and that, combined with the metaphysically true and physically untrue concept of oneness, creates a one-way exchange of negative energy that we take on and hold onto – sometimes forever.
Clearly, this is unhealthy for all. With this new awareness of an underlying cause, take steps to ensure that your actions are coming from unconditional love rather than the learned sense of responsibility. The latter also includes ‘should be’, guilt, fear, and shame. Be mindful in your thoughts words and actions, “Am I doing this because I want to, or because I should do so, based on someone else’s belief system?”
Why We Absorb the Maladies of Others
I am currently working with a very wise, spiritual woman I’ll call ‘Amy’ who can clearly recall being 3 years old and having an awareness of how ill her mother was at that time. Because babies only know love, Amy wanted to do something to help her mom. Amy remembers going to her mother’s bedside wanting “desperately to do something” and recalls “healing her mother” in that moment. After that experience, Amy’s mother did feel better, but Amy felt worse. Much worse.
She presented to me, in her own words, “barely able to walk”. She’d already had surgeries on her hip and feet, and doctors didn’t know what to do next. I was able to intuit that Amy actually absorbed the energy of her ailing mom at that time, and has been holding onto that stagnant energy ever since. And this is not uncommon. In my experience of late, I’ve found it to be the norm more than the exception. Amy’s loving act was both effective and detrimental at the same time – effective for her mom, and detrimental to her.
This seemingly loving intention created a pattern of feeling responsible for others’ health and so much more. Even as a youth, Amy felt responsible for holding the family container together. She recalls feeling responsible for everyone’s wellbeing, and of course acted from that ill-perceived place. Everyone else bought into that version of reality, too. Her siblings and mother blamed her for all that went ‘wrong’. This affected Amy’s self-esteem, which is energetically tied into the efficiency of the immune system. That, in addition to the energetic transfer, got Amy very sick in her youth and she has been plagued with serious pain and illness for many decades since.
Without a very conscious awareness driving the action, her soul’s contract of being a helper called her toward this event and its subsequent learning opportunities. Years of pain and illness drove her to try so many modalities and practitioners but few thought to ask about her childhood, and none created safe space for her to share this event with them.
I explained that this learned sense of responsibility has been burdening her entire life. The one-way flow of energy when not understood makes us too attached to other people’s feelings and even their opinions. We become people pleasers, denying our own sense of self and always focusing on others. But just like we hear on every airplane ride about the oxygen masks, we need to take care of ourselves first. Amy is now integrating this information using the tools I’ve given her and as we work together doing specific exercises to fine-tune her empathic abilities, she is healing slowly but surely of ailments that have plagued her for five decades.
While Amy’s level of illness is one of the more extreme I’m working with, the underlying causes are the same for many of us. The sense of responsibility we often learn early on makes us live at the mercy of other people’s thoughts and opinions of us. We don’t dare anger another for fear we’ll be unloved. We don’t dare say what we want because we don’t feel worthy of having our needs met or can’t handle someone saying “no” to us. And we end up doing things out of fear, guilt, or shame – all very low vibrational patterns – in a feeble attempt to be loved by others.
Guilt, fear and shame create resentment and a resultant constriction of energy, leaving us unable to fully heal or even excel in many areas of our lives. On the converse, acting from compassion and unconditional love is an expansive energy, opening us up to the healing and abundance of the Universe.
All of nature includes both problems and solutions; we only have to look further than our learned realities to see it. To me, non-diagnosable symptoms, or even diagnosed illness that had no obvious cause were just a jigsaw puzzle needing to be filled in from beyond the physical world of prescriptions, surgeries, and even existent energy healing modalities. When I was open, the answers came to me, and invite you to do the same to see if this information resonates with you on a deeper level than solely mind awareness.

In 6 Stories To Make You Believe In The Power Of The Mind To Heal You, I shared with you evidence that the mind’s thoughts, beliefs, and feelings can heal- or harm- the body. The response to this post was so enthusiastic that I felt inspired to share more stories with you. The more verifiable scientific evidence you collect for your skeptical mind, the more you will prove to yourself that the mind really can heal the body.
Hope Heals
As described by Dr. Bernie Siegel in Love, Medicine & Miracles, a chemotherapy regimen called “EPOH” was being studied in a research protocol for efficacy. Most of the study centers were reporting consistent results- some benefit from the chemotherapy, but nothing earth-shattering. But one study center was getting dramatically better results, so the research team investigated. What were they doing differently?
Turns out the doctor in the center with better results had renamed the chemotherapy regimen. Instead of telling his patients they were getting OPEH, he rearranged the letters and dosed them with HOPE.
Fake Surgery Heals Knees
In an article in The New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Bruce Moseley, an orthopedic surgeon renowned for the knee surgeries he performed on people with debilitating knee pain, reported about a brilliant study he designed to prove that his signature knee surgery was more effective than others. The patients in one group of the study got Dr. Moseley’s famous surgery. The other group of patients underwent an elaborately crafted sham surgery, during which the patient was sedated, three incisions were made in the same location as those getting the real surgery, and the patient was shown a prerecorded tape of someone else’s surgery on the video monitor. Dr. Moseley even splashed water around to mimic the sound of the lavage procedure. Then he sewed the knee back up without actually doing anything.
As expected, one third of the patients getting the real surgery experienced resolution of their knee pain. But what really shocked the researchers was that those getting the sham surgery had the same result! In fact, at one point in the study, those getting the sham surgery were actually having less knee pain than those getting the real surgery, probably because they didn’t undergo the trauma of the surgery.
What did Dr. Moseley’s patients think about the study results? As one World War II veteran who benefited from Dr. Moseley’s placebo knee surgery said, “The surgery was two years ago and the knee has never bothered me since. It’s just like my other knee now.”
Fake Surgery Heals Chest Pain
In the past, ligation of the internal mammary artery in the chest was considered standard treatment for angina. The thought was that, if you blocked blood flow through the internal mammary artery in the chest, you’d shunt more blood to the heart and relieve the symptoms people experience when they’re not getting enough coronary blood flow. Surgeons performed this procedure for decades, and almost all of the patients experienced improvement in their symptoms. But were they really responding to the ligation of the internal mammary artery? Or were their bodies responding to the belief that the surgery would be helpful?
On a quest to find out the answer, one study compared angina patients who got their internal mammary arteries ligated with patients who underwent a surgical procedure during which an incision was made on the chest wall, but the artery itself was not ligated. What happened? 71 percent of those subjected to the sham surgery got better, whereas only 67 percent of those who got the real surgery improved.
What You Believe Affects Your Life Expectancy
Researchers in San Diego examined the death records of almost 30,000 Chinese-Americans and compared them to over 400,000 randomly selected white people. What they found was that Chinese-Americans, but not whites, die significantly earlier than normal (by as much as 5 years) if they have a combination of disease and birth year which Chinese astrology and Chinese medicine consider ill-fated. The researchers found that the more strongly the Chinese-Americans attached to traditional Chinese traditions, the earlier they died. When they examined the data, they concluded that the reduction in life expectancy could not be explained by genetic factors, the lifestyle choices or behavior of the patient, the skill of the doctor, or any other variable.
Why did the Chinese-Americans die younger? The researchers concluded that they die younger not because they have Chinese genes, but because they have Chinese beliefs. They believe they will die younger because the stars have hexed them. And their negative belief manifests as a shorter life.
Generosity Is Potent Medicine
After 9 heart surgeries, Andy Mackie’s doctors had him on 15 medications, but the side effects made him miserable. So he decided to stop all his medications and spend his remaining days feeling as good as he could. His doctors said he would die within a year, so Andy decided to do something he had always wanted to do. He decided to use the money he would have spent on his heart medicines to buy 300 harmonicas for children, with lessons. And when he didn’t die the next month, he bought a few hundred more. Thirteen years and 20,000 harmonicas later, Andy Mackie finally passed away.
The Mind Affects Hair Growth
Thirty percent of patients who thought they were getting chemotherapy but were actually getting nothing but saline lost their hair. And bald men in the Rogaine trials who were getting nothing but sugar pills grew hair. Go figure.
Still Not Convinced?
I have zero attachment to converting skeptics of mind-body medicine into believers. I’m just a curious scientist who can’t ignore the evidence that the mind is more powerful that we yet understand. If you’re curious like me, read more evidence of the mind’s power to heal the body in Mind Over Medicine: Scientific Proof That You Can Heal Yourself or watch my Public Television special Heal Yourself: Mind Over Medicine (watch the trailer and check listings here).
Planet Earth has healed herself and has shifted into a new vibration. She is patiently waiting for humanity to remember how to heal themselves and to join her on what has been labeled “New Earth”. The body has known how to heal itself in the past and the future of healing will take on a whole new meaning. Imagine what the world will be like without disease, sickness, viruses, etc. That reality has already been created on the New Earth and it is up to us to manifest this into our reality.
In the time of Atlantis people visited the Temple Beautiful in order to regenerate and heal. The priestesses used crystal lasers that were programmed by the priests for healing, along with sound and color. The telomere, the biomarker for cellular marker for aging, was changed at the time of the fall of Atlantis. If the telomere were repaired, the body’s cells would regenerate themselves automatically, just like a lizard re-grows its tail. However humans always had the need to clear the body of energies because of the unique emotional body that we carry.
The future of the health and well being of humanity involves the remembrance of how to help the body heal itself. As we bring in more light, we raise our vibrational level and our dormant DNA is being activated. Because we are bringing more of our light essence as multidimensional beings into our physical bodies, intention is the key to standing in our self empowerment. The power of self healing is one of the most powerful gifts of returning to source that we can experience in physicality.
We have seen many forms of holistic healing emerge that include tools coupled with intention. According to Dr. Leonard Caldwell, there are over 300 holistic cures for cancer, and all cancer can be cured in less than 10 weeks. We are being reminded that every disease in the body is a manifestation of a negative energy in the emotional, spiritual, or mental body. Holistic healing involves the clearing of all of the energies in these three bodies in order to manifest perfection in the physical body.
The future of healthcare will bring about “walk in” clinics in your community where you can adjust your energy, clear your chakras, and receive counseling. Psychics can use their sixth sense in order to find out where you are carrying negative energy, and healers are available to help clear those energies. Counseling will uncover the situations that are leading you to carry these energies so that you can make better life choices in order to keep your energy fields clear. The main focus would be on teaching self healing and awareness.
In order for healers to be healers, they must first heal themselves. This takes work and is spelled out in the series “How to Ascend”. Once people heal themselves, it allows for the capability for others to help themselves heal, and in turn each one of us can help heal another. One turns into millions, then millions turns into billions. It all starts with the one. Everyone has healing capabilities.
A great example of self healing is shown in this story by Cindy Staffin*:
“On July 6, 2003, I took my mother to a popular gathering place on the lake to watch the fireworks. Shortly after arriving I needed a bathroom, but the closest one was a mile away. Under normal circumstances I would have been able to wait, but after two chemo treatments waiting would be difficult. I eyed the woods nearby and although it had been years since I peed in the woods, it was my only option!
As we walked towards the woods, my inner guidance repeated, “Don’t go down there … don’t go down there.” My reply was, “I don’t have time to get to a bathroom. I’ll be extremely careful.” “Don’t go down there, don’t go.” Typically I would have stopped in my tracks and followed what my guidance was telling me. But at that point my bladder was going to empty where I stood!
I walked down into the woods and did what I needed to do. All of a sudden I was rolling down hill towards a 15’ drop off into the lake. I could hear and feel what felt like my knee shattering. Then suddenly I realized that I had started rolling uphill away from the water. I heard Snap! Snap! Snap! As I watched my left leg swing through the air above me. I knew I had injured my knee and broke my ankle in three places. It was all very surreal and in slow motion.
I calmly called out to my mother to walk to the closest group of people and tell them that I needed an ambulance. Then, as though I had done it a hundred times before, I held my hands up towards my leg and repeatedly chanted, “Back in time – back in time – back in time.” It was getting really dark and I had started pulling myself up to the path while keeping time with my chant.
Some people had come to help me and were waiting to direct the ambulance. They were kind and compassionate and trying to have a conversation with me. Although I was appreciative, it was all I could do to stay focused and keep chanting to myself. Back in time, back in time….
The paramedic thought it was just a sprain since there was no swelling and she put a boot on my leg and off we went to the ER. The pain was excruciating and I just wanted to scream. But I kept still, calm and focused on reversing what had just happened. I could hear the fireworks blasting and thundering as the ambulance moved slowly across the property filled with people. I felt like a wounded soldier being transported through a war zone.
The ER doctor couldn’t tell the extent of the injuries from the x-ray, but he told me that surgery is common with similar fractures. That’s when I heard a sound that seemed to come from miles away. It was me screaming, NOOOOO! I had reached my breaking point, pun intended, and I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
Two days later I had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. More x-rays were taken and when the doctor came in to examine the films he looked at me, then back at the films, then back at me and back at the films, like he was being pranked! He asked me when this happened and he looked at me with disbelief when I told him two days ago. “I’ve never seen anything like this before. Your ankle is broken in three places and it looks like I had already set it and it’s been healing in a perfectly straight line.” I asked about my knee and he told me that my knee was fine.
I am convinced that I had healed my knee and had almost healed my ankle.
When I have a life changing experiences, I reflect back to see what synchronicities led up to the happening. Earlier in that week, I was hiking and decided to follow a stream. I realized that it would be getting dark soon and since no one knew where I was it would be smart to head back. I looked around and saw that I was surrounded by steep hills and had to either climb up or walk back to the trail. Suddenly, I was climbing up the hill like a spider. Literally! I don’t know how I did it so effortlessly, but I remember thinking that I had to hurry so I don’t break my ankle! Thank you Spirit for guiding me away from what could have been a long and painful night. Oh yes, and for helping me shapeshift into a spider and climbing out of there!
A few weeks after the injury, I was lying on a massage table receiving a healing treatment when one of my guides, Ten Feathers, rushed to my side. I asked him why he was there and he reminded me that I had asked why I had broken my ankle. He told me that I had thoughts of leaving the area and that I had to stay here on this land for now. Ten Feathers was right, of course, I had thought about leaving to live with a friend who lived a few hours away. The reason that I needed to stay became clear to me years later.
My healing, as it turns out, goes back in time farther than I thought. Several months earlier, I was having weekly sessions with a healer for what was later diagnosed as lymphoma. One day she mentioned that there was a past life connection with my left foot. I knew that it was linked to the reoccurring war dream that I had been having for years. In the dream, I am a soldier running from a parade of army tanks and soldiers that were showering us with bullets. I was hit in the left leg as I was crawling under rolled barb wire. I got up to run and the other soldiers were shouting for me to stay down. Each time I tried to get up and run I got shot in the leg.
My “back in time” healing technique actually healed something that was farther back in time then I had realized. I never had the war dream again. Now, any time that I hurt myself, I chant back in time over and over knowing that I could be healing far beyond the here and now.”

We come from the future to heal the past
Many of us are time travelers. In linear thinking, we have already been to the future and we have travelled back to the past to correct what we needed to in order to move forward. In doing so, we can correct our DNA lineage of our bloodline ancestors as well as our children and their future children. Never in the history of our Universe has such a feat been accomplished on this scale. Most fifth dimensional planets have light body humans, whereas we will have more physical light bodies. We are merging the physical and the light body by raising our consciousness to meet the light body while still existing in the physical. In doing so, we will appear more solid than most beings of a fifth dimensional vibration. However as we continue to increase our vibration, eventually we will not need our bodies anymore.
The current U.S. healthcare system is backwards
Everything is wrong with the current healthcare system in the United States. It is all about the money. Ridiculous rules and regulations have been created in order to manage the backwards system of healthcare. For instance, someone who is recovering from brain surgery can only stay in a rehab facility for 100 days under Medicare. What are they supposed to do if they have not been healed? Many times people who have spirit speaking to them in their head are misdiagnosed with schizophrenia and either hospitalized in a psych ward and/or heavily medicated to keep them numb. Children are mis-diagnosed with ADHD, when the accurate description is that they are having a hard time conforming to the third density lifestyle. These children are vibrating at a much higher level and have difficulty sitting in a classroom all day learning left brained academics. The list goes on and on, but everything can be turned around with knowledge and truth.
The system is so backward that the only way to correct it is for the people to learn to heal themselves. We can no longer afford health insurance premiums and we can no longer count on medical practices driven by big pharma. The Native Americans have been using healing herbs for decades, and the reservations that are miles away from fast food restaurants have a lesser incident of obesity and disease. There are no hospitals in the bush where the Aborigines reside. It is all a grand illusion and the bubble must be popped.
Knowledge of self healing for humanity is imperative in order to move forward, as we can no longer function is the society spun for us. We have to take action, spread the word, and heal ourselves first.
There are many holistic practitioners in the forefront. Dentists, massage therapists, psychic healers, and acupuncturists, just to name a few, have been laying the foundation for the future of healthcare on the planet. There are even holistic veterinarians to keep our pets healthy. The main fear in society is the fear that using a holistic remedy will fail therefore without taking the medically diagnosed treatment, the person will die. How will we get past this fear? By example and by information. There are hundreds of thousands of people with success stories on the internet. We need mainstream media channels that focus on holistic healing to share remedies and the success stories. If we were to take control of mainstream media we could change the world in an instant. Until then it is important to document the success stories and to open holistic community walk in clinics. Very soon the media will not be able to ignore all of the miraculous success stories of people healing themselves anymore, and newscasters will wonder why they are not getting to report these stories.
If you are a healer, the bursts of galactic energies being sent to us from the great central sun- Alcyone, are here to help us clear out the last of our baggage. We can then step into our power with our specialized form of healing and counseling that will change the planet from the inside out. If you are feeling drawn to learn a new way of healing then follow your heart and take action. Speak up if you have a miraculous healing story to share.
