CHUALAR, Calif. —Cue “The X-Files” song. Mysterious, giant crop circles have appeared on a Chualar farm and startled observers into wondering if aliens landed in the Salinas Valley.

Two friends were driving on Chualar Canyon Road south of Salinas just before dawn Sunday when they witnessed strange bursts of green light flashing on the horizon. The duo turned on a video camera, pulled over, hopped a barbed-wire fence, and walked toward the lights.

“Dude, are you seeing this?” one friend said. “Dude, this is a crop circle.”

The friends investigated the field until they panicked and sprinted away. The duo wanted to remain anonymous, and they uploaded a video of their experience on YouTube under the name Cannot Say.

“Needless to say, pretty wild. But we slipped away and it’s too good not to share,” Cannot Say wrote.

No one realized how intricate the crop circles were until professional photographer Julie Belanger took a helicopter ride Monday morning. Belanger had not heard about the circles and she flew in a helicopter over the farm by coincidence.

Belanger said her first immediate thought was, “What is it?”

“It was beautiful. Quite beautiful,” Belanger told KSBW. “I believe it’s possible that aliens exist, but I don’t know if they would bother making a crop circle to give us a message.”

Curious onlookers grew in number Monday afternoon as word of the crop circles spread. People stood on top of vehicles and fences to get a better view, and security guards kept gawkers from entering the field.

“I’m always willing to believe. It looks like aliens to me,” Manuel Madrid of Gonzales said.

While alien believers marveled, skeptics sounded off to debunk any extraterrestrial Chualar theories.

KSBW.com reader Russell Martin commented, “The Ancient Chualarians have always been known to be a bunch of merry pranksters.”

Michael Myers commented, “Yes they mastered Intergalactic travel and can’t make a perfect circle.”

Paige Penrose chimed in, “That looks really neat, regardless of who did it! Great design.”

As of Monday night, no one had stepped forward to claim responsibility for the crop circles.

In this film you will learn how and why British and U.S. military and intelligence agencies have essentially destroyed the credibility of the Crop Circle phenomenon through a program deliberately designed to relegate the Crop Circles to your mind’s round file of silly fantasies and acts of human mischief. These base and misguided efforts have been enormously successful at discrediting what were intended to be a beautiful as well as non-threatening greeting to mankind from the universe. Researchers Robert Hulse, David Cayton, and Roy Dutton have been studying the Crop circle phenomenon since the early 1990′s. Upon close inspection of a crop circle, on their hands and knees, they have developed the ability to identify crop circles which are produced by human beings through the mechanical stomping down of crop utilizing a rope and board. They look for marks left by the edge of the board where it contacts the plants and leaves a telltale scar upon the plant’s stem surface. Yet they also acknowledge that some crop circles, the Genuine Crop Circles, do not exhibit these marks, are more graceful and flowing, reveal the presence of blown-out nodes, and are very likely produced by a non-human intelligence. These researchers tell us that they have not encountered what they believe to be a Genuine Crop Circle since 2005! Let us hope that the Genuine Circle Makers have not simply given up on the human race as a species which is completely unapproachable due to our demonstrated inability to deal with an unknown in an honest and forthright manner.

Mysterious crop circles have appeared in an eastern Washington wheat field – not far from the nation’s largest hydropower producer – but area farmers preparing for the summer’s harvest find the distraction more amusing than alarming.

SEATTLE — Mysterious crop circles have appeared in an eastern Washington wheat field – not far from the nation’s largest hydropower producer – but area farmers preparing for the summer’s harvest find the distraction more amusing than alarming.

“You can’t do anything other than laugh about it,” said Cindy Geib, who owns the field along with her husband, Greg. “You just kind of roll with the theory it’s aliens and you’re special because aliens chose your spot.”

Friends called the Geibs on July 24 when the pattern of flattened wheat was spotted off Highway 174, about five miles north of the town of Wilbur. The field is about 10 miles south of the Grand Coulee dam, which the Bureau of Reclamation says is the largest hydropower producer in the United States.

The circles resemble a four-leaf clover and remind Cindy Geib of Mickey Mouse ears. The design knocked down about an acre of their wheat. Some of it could be salvaged by combines when the harvest starts in a week or two, she said, but some will be lost.

“Of course, we don’t have alien insurance,” she said.

Crop circles have been a worldwide phenomenon for decades, and this is not the first one in Lincoln County. Similar circular patterns were left in crops in the Wilbur area in 2010 and in 2008 or 2009, Geib said.

Lynne Brougher, public affairs officer for the Grand Coulee dam, hadn’t heard about the latest crop circles but said the previous one was no cause for alarm.

“It seemed to be highly unusual,” Brougher said. “As I recall from a couple of years ago, there was no good explanation of how they got there.”

Still, she added, “it wasn’t a concern.”

A group of prominent Russian scientists, including Russian cosmonaut Dr. Marina Popovich, PhD, as well as Victoria Popova, Dr. Sc., Ph.D., and Lidia Andrianova Ph.D. have announced a discovery of extraterrestrial communications in pictograms that extraterrestrial intelligence has placed in crop circles and in stone monuments around the world. The group has created a dictionary of over 250 extraterrestrial pictograms for interpreting crop circles and stone monuments such as “Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles in the UK, Machu Picchu, Chavin de Huantar and the Nazca Lines in Peru, the pyramid of Chichen-Itza and the pyramids of the moon and the sun in Mexico and the Moai of Easter Island and others.”

ET pictograms predict global cataclysms

The Russian scientist group states that the extraterrestrial pictograms communicate that “Extraterrestrial civilizations (ETC) predict three preliminary catastrophes followed by global cataclysms of a magnitude beyond anything experienced in living memory. There will be a short time period between all these events.”

They continue, “ETC warn that civilization has to be pre-informed about the scenario of global cataclysms [before the] beginning [of the] event. A civilization that is not informed has no chance to make the Transition in time and to prolong life. First pre-cataclysm will be related with interruption of global system of communication — phone, Internet. Pre-informed civilization will avoid shock and chaos of super-powerful disaster and has a chance to make the Transition in time.”

The Russian scientist group “emphasizes that this is a natural cycle of the planet. Part of this process is the development of human consciousness to a point where humanity will have a ‘window of opportunity’ to make the transition to a higher plane of existence. They explain that this point in history can be seen as a kind graduation for humanity to a higher and more subtle level of experience, a type of metamorphosis for humanity connected with ascension. Nobody can be saved individually, as the transition can be made only through the synchronous unification of human consciousness.

The Russian scientist group states, “The time for humans to escape the devastation through the unification of consciousness will be shortly after the first pre-cataclysm. After second pre-catastrophe humanity will have no chance to prolong life because number of people [remaining alive] will be not enough to start up the mechanism of the transition. In the future humanity will join a galactic community of evolved extra-terrestrial civilizations, linked through consciousness.”

Dr. Marina Popovich “(born July 20, 1931) is a retired Soviet Air Force colonel, engineer, and legendary Soviet test pilot who holds 107 aviation world records set on over 40 types of aircraft. She is one of the most famous pilots in Russian history, and one of the most important female pilots of all-time. Marina Vasilieva became a Soviet Air Force pilot and in 1964, a military test pilot. She authored nine books and two screenplays. Among many other awards, she has been honored as Hero of Socialist Labor, the Order of Courage (presented personally by Vladimir Putin in June 2007)and a star in the Cancer constellation bears her name.”

Popovich and UFOs

One source states, “Dr. Marina Popovich has been outspoken about UFO reality. She wrote a book called UFO Glasnost (published in 2003 in Germany) and given public lectures and interviews. She has mentioned over 3000 UFO sightings by Soviet military and civilian pilots. Although qualifying that her statements are not official, she says that the Soviet Air Force and KGB have fragments of five crashed UFOs in their possession. The crash sites mentioned were Tunguska (1908), Novosibirsk, Tallinn/Estonia, Ordzhonikidze/Caucasus, and Dalnegorsk (1986). Popovich said debris was analyzed and the conclusion was that it wasn’t manufactured on Earth with terrestrial technology In 1991, she also displayed what she claims is the last photo taken by the Russian probe Phobos 2, before it lost contact with Earth and disappeared. This photo shows an unexplained cylindrical figure, which could be a camera artifact.”

Russian scientists Popova and Andrianova — Barkhausen effect

According to their biographies, “Dr. Victoria Popova has over 100 scientific publications and 14 patents. She is the best inventor of NCC HS. Dr. Lidia Andrianova has over 50 scientific publications and 4 patents. Their dissertations were based on research of the Barkhausen effect and its application for nondestructive testing and evaluation of ferromagnetic materials. Later we understood that just the Barkhausen effect can explain the mechanism of global cataclysms beginning…. On the basis of decoded information we have written 12 books. Two of our books we have published in co-authorship with Dr. Marina Popovich.” One source states, “The Barkhausen effect is a series of sudden changes in the size and orientation of ferromagnetic domains, or microscopic clusters of aligned atomic magnets (spins), that occurs during a continuous process of magnetization or demagnetization. The Barkhausen effect offered direct evidence for the existence of ferromagnetic domains, which previously had been postulated theoretically. Heinrich Barkhausen discovered that a slow, smooth increase of a magnetic field applied to a piece of ferromagnetic material, such as iron, causes it to become magnetized, not continuously but in minute steps.”

August 9, 2011 Albuquerque, New Mexico – As a science and environment investigative reporter, I made my first trip to Wiltshire County, England, in July 1992, to explore the beautiful mystery of crop formations. The first pattern I stepped into convinced me I had encountered a powerful and profound force. A group of us heard about this a pattern of five circles below Milk Hill and had walked along the crest to look from above. The sky was blue, the wheat was glistening and there were five circles, four connected by undulating paths and one circle by itself.

Reported on July 16, 1992, this 336-foot-long pattern of circles and
pathways in wheat field below Milk Hill and the Lockeridge White Horse.

John Martineau did this diagram to clearly show the unusual pattern that measured 336 feet end-to-end and all of the circles were swirled clockwise. All of the pathways were laid from south to north.
