Your Color Vibe for Tuesday, 4/15

Tuesday, April 15:    Lavender Mist

There are things that will become more obvious today.  You have been seeing things recently in a somewhat removed and clouded way.  Today you will find some clarity.  There are a number of situations that have been going on around you and that you have been asked to take sides in or join in.  You have made certain movements in these areas, but on some level, you were always aware that there was more to what was going on than you were truly aware of.  Today you will see these things for what they are and what they mean in terms of your own path at this time.  There are some choices to make, but with the new light on things right now, those choices will be much more comfortable and at one with WHO you are.

You Color Vibe for Monday, 4/14

Monday, April 14:    Peach

What do you know!  There can be some interesting surprises in the air along with synchronicities and signs.  What is going on, you might ask.  This is all related to the energies that are moving in with the upcoming total lunar eclipse.  The stage is being set.  It is important to be aware of coincidences happening today.  At the same time, it is well to pay attention to your intuition.  This is a day for making plans and preparations, so start to get things in order. Be open to what your body needs as the physicality is reacting differently to the day’s energies.  Be aware also of how you are feeling emotionally while out in public.  There is a dimensional shift going, on and things look different.

DEA Targeting Hydroponic Garden Store Patrons

DEA Raided This Woman’s House After She Shopped At A Garden Store

Posted: Updated:
POLICE OFFICER GUN

Angela Kirking never thought shopping for garden supplies would lead to agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration waking her up with guns drawn, but that’s what happened last October.

“I bought a bottle of organic fertilizer, a 16-ounce bottle,” said Kirking, a 46-year-old face-paint artist. “Three weeks later I was raided by DEA.”

The DEA is refusing to answer questions about the law enforcement operation targeting an Illinois garden store that has netted Kirking and at least 10 other people. But Kirking and her lawyer contend it’s a case of misplaced priorities and federal overreach. They’re asking why the DEA is treating ordinary customers of a garden store selling hydroponic equipment as if they were major drug dealers.

The Oct. 11, 2013, raid on Kirking’s house, first reported by Patch, involved four DEA agents and five Shorewood, Ill., police officers, according to a police report. Its alleged yield from Kirking’s art room, whose entrance is guarded by beads: 9.3 grams of marijuana, or less than one-third of an ounce.

Now Kirking’s defense lawyer, former Will County (Ill.) prosecutor Jeff Tomczak, is trying to have the search warrant and the two misdemeanor charges it produced thrown out.

Kirking’s visit to the garden store, Midwest Hydroganics, was the predicate for the whole investigation of her, according to Tomczak. “100 percent nothing else,” he said, calling that far too thin a thread on which to base a search warrant.

In the search warrant application, a Braidwood, Ill., police officer assigned to the DEA, Donn Kaminski, wrote that he had observed Kirking exit the garden store “carrying a green plastic bag containing unknown items.” Kaminski stated he had “previously conducted numerous investigations that involved the surveillance of Midwest Hydroganics and persons purchasing items at Midwest Hydroganics, which has led to the arrest of suspects for production of cannabis sativa plants and production of cannabis.”

A man answering the phone at the Midwest Hydroganics store declined to comment on the DEA operation.

Kaminski wrote that he then sifted through Kirking’s household trash, detecting “a strong odor of green cannabis” in one plastic trash bag, and compared her home’s electrical bill to that of her neighbors, finding that it was higher. Another officer conducted a field test on a green plant stem, which allegedly tested positive for marijuana. That was enough for a judge to sign a warrant.

An application for a search warrant for a different Midwest Hydroganics customer, Tomczak noted, stated that police had found no evidence of marijuana plant residue in the trash — and suggested that was evidence a suspect was covering up his marijuana grow.

The result in Kirking’s case was an early morning raid on her home.

“They were in full attack mode, came at me guns raised, flashlights. Just like you see in the movies,” Kirking said. “I had to ask them for a warrant. I said, ‘Who are you,’ when they came in the bedroom. Somebody said, ‘DEA.'”

A spokesman for the Will County State’s Attorney described Kirking’s case as just one among many resulting from surveillance of the store.

“There are 11 total cases based upon search warrants that were written and charged based upon this type of surveillance in Will County by the DEA,” said Charles Pelkie, director of public affairs for the state’s attorney’s office. “Eleven of those cases are charged, eight have been prosecuted in Will County.”

Kirking’s alleged marijuana stash was paltry. But Pelkie said other searches have produced more serious amounts. The largest of these in Will County, he said, yielded 120 marijuana plants, 290,510 grams of cannabis and 178 Ecstasy pills. That raid has resulted in one person pleading guilty to a felony.

Pelkie said the Will County State’s Attorney makes its decisions on charges when the DEA presents its evidence. He refused to comment on whether targeting a garden store was the best use of the agency’s resources.

“With regard to how the DEA conducts its investigations, you really have to refer to them,” said Pelkie.

But on that count the federal agency is not being helpful. Special Agent Owen Putman, spokesman for the DEA’s Chicago Division, declined via email to comment on the operation targeting Midwest Hydroganics.

The Illinois law enforcement operation seems to follow the same pattern as a two-state operation out of Kansas City, Mo., that also involved the DEA. The effort dubbed “Operation Constant Gardener,” led by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, also staked out hydroponic garden stores and eventually arrested 14 people. To maximize publicity, those raids happened on April 20 of 2011 and 2012 — 4/20, also known as “Weed Day.”

After the initial favorable headlines, however, the other side of Operation Constant Gardener came into focus: Innocent gardeners had been harassed, and garden stores saw diminished business.

In the Kansas City suburb of Leawood, Kan., law enforcement agents clad in bulletproof vests and carrying assault rifles raided the home of a couple and their two children. The parents turned out to be former CIA employees. Even after no marijuana was found, police allegedly suggested to Adlynn and Robert Harte that perhaps their 13-year-old son used marijuana.

“These folks have never used drugs at all. They have the cleanest backgrounds ever,” said the couple’s lawyer, Cheryl Pilate. “They used a SWAT team — or a bunch of deputies dressed up like SWAT officers using SWAT tactics — which was totally inappropriate.”

Pilate said the couple’s ordeal started after the husband went to the hydroponic garden store to buy supplies for an educational indoor vegetable garden he planted with his son. The Hartes are now suing for damages.

In many cases, Pilate argues, the police rely on inaccurate and unreliable field tests like those used to identify alleged traces of marijuana in suspects’ trash. Her clients contend in their lawsuit that the supposed “marijuana” found in their trash was actually discarded tea leaves.

Pilate said police departments are quick to put out press releases when such raids turn up drugs or marijuana plants.

“What you hear about are the people who are charged. You generally don’t hear about the people who aren’t,” said Pilate.

In Illinois, the Will County State’s Attorney has so far not answered HuffPost’s request for statistics on how many search warrants were executed as part of the Midwest Hydroganics investigation that did not result in prosecutions.

Kirking, the face-paint artist who faces two misdemeanor charges for the small amount of marijuana found in her home, is hopeful the judge in her case will throw out the warrant. She thinks the garden store operation should stop.

“You feel very violated. I mean extremely violated. My husband and I were in shock for days afterwards — how did this happen?” she said. “It’s sad that they are resorting to this method.”

Ohio Earthquakes & Fracking

Ohio Provides Newest Evidence Linking Fracking to Earthquakes

Kevin Samson
Activist Post

There has been an ongoing battle between researchers and the natural gas and oil industries over whether or not hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is definitively leading to an increase in earthquake activity.

In a recent article entitled “Oklahoma Breaking Records For Earthquake Activity – Fracking?” I presented evidence from the U.S. Army, U.S. Geological Survey, the Oklahoma Geological Survey and the Geological Society of America, which suggests that it is becoming conclusive that fracking causes earthquakes. Furthermore, studies also indicate that even when fracking is halted, earthquake activity can continue and earthquake magnitude can increase over time.

Ohio is already on the map as one of the 6 states where earthquakes are a new feature of reality. According to a new report, Ohio geologists are the latest to express concern over why earthquake activity is on the rise in regions where fracking has been taking place.

As even the Associated Press is now having to report:

Geologists in Ohio have for the first time linked earthquakes in a geologic formation deep under the Appalachians to hydraulic fracturing, leading the state to issue new permit conditions Friday in certain areas that are among the nation’s strictest.

A state investigation of five small tremors last month in the Youngstown area, in the Appalachian foothills, found the injection of sand and water that accompanies hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, in the Utica Shale may have increased pressure on a small, unknown fault, said State Oil & Gas Chief Rick Simmers. He called the link “probable.”

While earlier studies had linked earthquakes in the same region to deep-injection wells used for disposal of fracking wastewater, this marks the first time tremors in the region have been tied directly to fracking, Simmers said. The five seismic events in March couldn’t be easily felt by people.

The A.P. goes on, however, to offer a hedge to this troubling information
The oil and gas drilling boom targets widely different rock formations around the nation, so the Ohio findings may not have much relevance to other areas other than perhaps influencing public perception of fracking’s safety. The types of quakes connected to the industry are generally small and not easily felt, but the idea of human activity causing the earth to shake often doesn’t sit well.

[…]

But for the region encompassing Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, where energy companies have drilled thousands of unconventional gas wells in recent years, it’s a first.

[…]

Glenda Besana-Ostman, a former seismologist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, confirmed the finding is the first in the area to suggest a connection between the quakes and fracking. A deep-injection wastewater well in the same region of Ohio was found to be the likely cause of a series of quakes in 2012.
(emphasis added)

The “relevance” when one considers similar confirmations anywhere thorough studies are conducted goes beyond merely “influencing public perception” about safety. Furthermore, passing off these quakes as “generally small and not easily felt” should not diminish the concern that these quakes will become more frequent and larger over time as the Geological Society of America has concluded.

Nevertheless, it appears that tentative action is being taken in Ohio:

Ohio has also imposed an indefinite drilling moratorium at the site of the March quakes. The state is allowing oil and gas extraction to continue at five existing wells at the site.

Such events linked to fracking are “extremely rare,” said Shawn Bennett, a spokesman for the industry group Energy In Depth, who described the new rules as safeguards that will prevent similar future quakes in Ohio.

The link between fracking and earthquakes is becoming too strong to ignore, or to shrug off as “extremely rare” when the scientific studies keeping mounting.

In addition to the threat of earthquake activity, the negative environmental and health effects of poisoned water and food is spurring people to take action. The first fracking trial has opened in Dallas which pits Texans Bob and Lisa Parr of Wise County against Aruba Petroleum

for property and personal damages which the couple claims they have suffered as a result of Aruba’s fracking operations. The Parr property was surrounded by natural gas frackers in 2009. The Parrs charge that frackers have so polluted their air and water as to destroy their right to peacefully enjoy their home and property and properly care for their pets and livestock, some of whom have died as a result of the fracking pollution, according to the complaint against Plano, Texas-based Aruba Petroleum. (Source)

These are conditions which echo those reported in Pennsylvania and Louisiana:

…the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture quarantined 28 cattle belonging to Don and Carol Johnson, who farm about 175 miles southwest of (nearby Slope Farm’s owner Ken) Jaffe. The animals had come into wastewater that leaked from a nearby well that showed concentrations of chlorine, barium, magnesium, potassium, and radioactive strontium. In Louisiana, 16 cows that drank fluid from a fracked well began bellowing, foaming and bleeding at the mouth, then dropped dead. Homeowners near fracked sites complain about a host of frightening consequences, from poisoned wells to sickened pets to debilitating illnesses. (Source)

If you would like to see some visual evidence of what people are going through in fracked regions, please see the move Gasland, the short video The Face of Fracking Victims, and see these 5 Videos Showing How Fracking Can Make Water Flammable.

When combined with the mounting evidence of the fracking-earthquake link it is clear that fracking is becoming a menace that can’t be ignored. It is imperative that people become informed and begin raising this issue with local government. The history of oil and gas exploration indicates that a rollback from Big Energy will not be done without overwhelming opposition.

UFO ET Dulce Base Revealed From A Scientist Now In Hiding

Last updated on April 11, 2014

Dulce, New Mexico is a quite little town located about 7,000 feet on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation. It is home to about 900 people with one major motel and a few stores. It’s not your typical resort town and it is not bustling with activity. However, this sleepy town harbors a deep, dark secret hidden below the tangled brush of Archuleta Mesa. A secret so deep, that it involves a joint government-alien biogenetic laboratory designed to carry out bizarre experiments on humans and animals.

The Dulce Base is believed to be the largest Reptilian and Grey Alien base in America where there are allegedly conducting experiments including: atomic manipulation, cloning, mind control, animal/human crossbreeding, chip implantation, abduction, and feeding off of humans.

The video below contains extraordinary notes taken by a scientist who was commissioned by the government to visit alien crash sites and observe alien life (the scientist is now in hiding). In it he reveals top secret information on the Dulce Base and its inner workings. HOWEVER, I must warn you, the information is the video is top secret, and just by reading it, it puts a target on your back, people have been killed for sharing this knowledge. So please watch with caution….

These pictures were allegedly smuggled out of the base by a Dulce security officer named, Thomas Costello. He and his family are missing & presumed dead by the public.

Foods to Aid in Keeping Cataracts Away

How To Avoid Cataract Surgery

Friday, April 4th 2014 at 9:30 am

How To Avoid Cataract Surgery

Age-related cataracts are the leading cause of low vision and blindness throughout the world.  Up to 30% of people over the age of 50 will develop them.  By age 75, about 70% will have cataracts.  Surgery to remove cataracts has become almost routine.

Cataracts develop when proteins build up in the lens of the eye making it cloudy.  It happens with age and is primarily due to oxidative damage.  Age-related cataracts are the result of a lifetime of molecular damage to the lens proteins by free radicals.

Can your diet make a difference?  Studies to date haven’t been conclusive.  Animal studies have found that wheat grass reverses cataract damage.  Human studies have found only a non-significant or modest association between fruit and vegetable intake and cataract risk.

But the most recent study from Spanish researchers is more promising.  An article published online on BMC Ophthalmology, finds a significant relationship between high intakes of fruits and vegetables and lowered risk of cataracts.  In addition, taking in more vitamins C and E is also associated with fewer cataracts.

High Intake of Fruits and Vegetables Lowers Cataract Risk

The researchers analyzed data from the Spanish segment of the European Eye study (EUREYE) collected between February 2000 and November 2001.  The subjects included 599 adults age 65 or older.

Participants completed a food frequency questionnaire to assess how many fruits and vegetables they typically ate.  The researchers also measured blood plasma levels of vitamin C, alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), and various carotenoids.

Of the participants, 50% ate five or more servings of fruits and/or vegetables a day.  That number is high compared to what Americans eat.  The researchers noted that the general population of Spain eats a Mediterranean diet rich in fruits and vegetables, especially citrus fruit.

The researchers showed that the more combined fruits and vegetables the participants ate, the lower their cataract risk.

The same was true of vitamin C.

produce eye health

Vitamins C and E Associated With Lower Cataract Risk

As vitamin C intake increased above 107 mg per day, the risk of developing cataracts significantly decreased.  One orange has about 70 mg of vitamin C.  And the more vitamin C people ate – up to a point – the lower the risk.

Compared to those eating the least fruits and vegetables a day (between 13 mg to 83 mg), those eating up to 107 mg lowered their risk by 38%.  Those eating up to 143 mg per day lowered their risk by 51%.  However, those eating up to 408 mg every day didn’t see much more improvement.  They lowered their risk by 54%.  The researchers noted this was consistent with other research finding human eye tissues become saturated at intakes of vitamin C between 200 and 300 mg per day.

Vitamin E intake above 8 mg per day showed a protective association against developing cataract.  An ounce of sunflower seeds contains about 10 mg of vitamin E.  But there was no evidence that more vitamin E contributed to additional decreases in risk.

The researchers also measured the effects of other dietary antioxidants including lutein, zeaxanthin, β-cryptoxanthin, α-carotene, β-carotene, and lycopene.  But none of those antioxidants were associated with cataract risk.  The researchers admitted this result was not consistent with other epidemiological studies and called for more research.

Until then we know that high daily intakes of combined fruit and vegetables, as well as vitamins C and E are associated with a significantly decreased risk of cataract.

What does this mean for you?

Foods To Protect Against Cataracts

The researchers observed that high intakes of fruit alone did not significantly lower cataract risk.  But vegetables alone did make a significant difference.

To keep your eyes healthy, eat vegetables rich in vitamins C or E.  Broccoli is high in both of those vitamins.

Vegetables high in vitamin C include kale, bell peppers, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, tomatoes, and snow peas.  Foods high in vitamin E include spinach, avocados, sunflower seeds, squash, and pumpkin.
