Very Strong earthquake in Guerrero, Mexico – Damage in parts of Guerrero (i.a. Acapulco, San Marcos) – At least 3 injuries

Last update: August 21, 2013 at 3:39 pm by By

Update 15:27 UTC : Huitzuco is another affected town. Three residental buildings and one chuch suffered minor damage there. Another damaged church is in Taxco, where parts of the ceiling fell down. Two nurses in Iguala were injured by falling pieces of ceiling panel, respectively by a collision with a door in their hospital. More people in Guerrero needed medical help for nervous breakdowns.

Update 15:18 UTC : The Good News: No damage was caused in the states of Veracruz and Puebla.

Update 15:05 UTC : Some houses in Hornos Insurgentes, a part of Acapulco, collapsed. One girl was injured there. (Some of the damage in Acapulco might be caused by an M 5.6 aftershock, which occurred a few minutes after the mainshock)
Rockfall was observed in rural areas of Guerrero, blocking some roads.

Update 14:56 UTC : It seems that also Mexico City was slightly affected. Residents reported cracks to walls in some parts of the town and a crack in a classroom. No big damage among it.

Update 14:38 UTC : At least 3 hospitals were damaged, two in Acapulco and one in San Marcos.
Schools and other public buildings in this towns were closed, because some of them were damaged.

Update 14:08 UTC : More damage reports arrive from Acapulco. Some buildings on harbour area of Acapulco suffered heavy damage. Large cracks and collapsed walls are reported. At least 3 school buildins in Acapulco were also damaged.

Update 14:03 UTC : Damage is reported from some parts of Guerrero. Buildings in San Marcos, Atapulco and Chilpancingo suffered cracks by the quake, Civil protection authorities reported.

Update 13:44 UTC : Civil protection in Mexico City and other regions are now looking for potential damage. Helicopters fly about DF, public buildings (schools, etc.) are unter investigation. No damage is reported yet, while people are starting to return to their houses.

Update 13:16 UTC : Earthquake alarms in Mexico City went on when the quake happened, triggering people to come out of their houses, seconds before the seismic waves arrived.
In Acapulco, 55 km southwest of the epicenter, the quake caused disturbances in the telephone connection.

A very strong earthquake occurred in southern Guerrero, Mexico. It was well felt in Mexico City. USGS ShakeMap expects a strong shaking in epicenter region, which will probably cause light to moderate damage to weak buildings

Weekly Color Vibe

August 18-24

The theme this week is why didn’t I see it before?….  There will be many things coming into your face that you have been looking at for so long, but never saw.  What a difference a shift of perspective makes!

Overall Color for the Week:   Light Steel Blue

This is very much a week in which to make it through.  Things are going to be coming up that were not in the schedule, and you will need to find a way to deal with them.  There can be a lot of stuff in your face that you did not want to have anything to do with, some of it you thought had been settled, some of it you knew had nothing to do with you, and some of it you had let go of a long time ago.  Be ready for anything, and know that if you stay strong in WHO you are, you can make it through everything, get your voice heard, and put into place a lot of the people who have been just buzzing around for so long.  You need to know what you tolerance level is.  Once you have figured that out, it is time to be aware of what it is that you no longer want on your agenda.  This is a week for settling of you and your needs, your desires, and the things that most assist you in the changes that are happening. There are the things that matter.  There are things that do not matter.  The changes will turn things upside down and when that happens, you will definitely see that a lot of the old politeness that you bought into was just someone else’s game.  Oh, and it is time to know what is real and what is illusion.

On the larger scale, Gaia has a few points to make this week, and you will be seeing them come out in different areas.  She has changed, the face of the Earth has changed, and the once so-predictable jet streams, seasons, and storms are no longer the same.  There is upheaval within the core of the Earth that will be felt on a small scale beginning on Thursday, but growing in intensity as the weeks progress.  There will be many out of season events associated with that along with some relatively startling movements, explosions, etc.  These things will bring to light certain facts and artifacts related to very old cultures.  When these things are brought forward, there will be an attempt to explain them away as recent forgeries, etc.  You will know the truth if you go within.  Money is becoming quite the ball court issue, as the markets swing back and forth between the winners and the losers.  Actually, with all of this, you will probably see this week the beginning of some pretty radical time-outs.  Watch also of the movement of illnesses on the globe.  There is a virus that has been injected into the atmosphere that can begin to affect people who are choosing the negative.  Interestingly, the positive attitude that you adhere to, the joy and love that you embrace are the only vaccines you need to make you immune to all of this.

Comets & CME

SUNDIVING COMET AND FULL-HALO CME: A small comet plunged into the sun this morning, and just before it arrived, the sun expelled a magnificent full-halo CME. Click to view a movie from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO):

In the final frames of the movie, the comet can be seen furiously vaporizing. Indeed, those were the comet’s final frames. It did not emerge again from its flyby of the hot sun. “With a diameter of perhaps a few tens of meters, this comet was clearly far too small to survive the intense bombardment of solar radiation,” comments Karl Battams of the Naval Research Lab, who studies sungrazing comets.

The CME (coronal mass ejection) came from an explosion on the farside of the sun. Although the CME and the comet appear to intersect, there was probably no interaction between the two. The comet is in the foreground and the farside CME is behind it.

Occasionally, readers ask if sundiving comets can trigger solar explosions. There’s no known mechanism for comets to spark solar flares. Comets are thought to be too small and fragile to destabilize the sun’s magnetic field. Plus, this comet was still millions of kilometers from the sun when the explosion unfolded.

The comet, R.I.P., was a member of the Kreutz family. Kreutz sungrazers are fragments from the breakup of a single giant comet many centuries ago. They get their name from 19th century German astronomer Heinrich Kreutz, who studied them in detail. Several Kreutz fragments pass by the sun and disintegrate every day. Most, measuring less than a few meters across, are too small to see, but occasionally a bigger fragment like this one attracts attention.

Drought Causes Colorado River Flow Cut

For the first time in history, the U.S. government has ordered that flow of Colorado River water from the 50-year-old Glen Canyon Dam be slashed, due to a water crisis brought about by the region’s historic 14-year drought. On Friday, the Federal Bureau of Reclamation–a division of the Department of Interior that manages water and electric power in the West–announced that it would cut water released from Lake Powell’s Glen Canyon Dam by 750,000 acre-feet in 2014. An acre-foot is the amount of water that will cover an acre of land one foot deep; 750,000 acre-feet is enough water to supply at least 750,000 homes for one year. The flow reduction will leave the Colorado River 9% below the 8.23 million acre feet that is supposed to be supplied downstream to Lake Mead for use in California, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico under the Colorado River Compact of 1922 and later agreements. “This is the worst 14-year drought period in the last hundred years,” said Upper Colorado Regional Director Larry Walkoviak in a Bureau of Reclamation press release.

In the winter of 2005, Lake Powell reached its lowest level since filling, an elevation 150′ below full pool. Lake levels recovered some in during 2005 – 2011, but the resurgence of severe to extreme drought conditions have provoked a steep decline in 2012 and 2013, with the lake falling 35′ over the past year. As of August 18, 2013, Lake Powell was 109′ below full pool (45% of capacity), and was falling at a rate of one foot every six days.

Las Vegas’ Water Supply, Lake Mead, Near a Record Low
Downstream of Lake Powell lies Lake Mead, filled in 1936 when Hoover Dam was completed. Lake Mead supplies Las Vegas with ninety percent of its drinking water, and the water level of Lake Mead is expected to fall by eight feet in 2014 due to the lower water flow levels out of Lake Powell ordered on Friday. Lake Mead has fallen by 100 feet since the current 14-year drought began in 2000, and the higher of the two intake pipes used to supply Las Vegas with water from the lake is in danger of running dry. As a result, a seven-year, $800 million project is underway by the Southern Nevada Water Authority to build a third intake pipe that will tap the deepest part of the reservoir. This so-called “third straw” is scheduled to be available late in 2014, which may be cutting it close, if the Colorado River watershed experiences another year of drought as severe as in 2012 – 2013. Southern Nevada has done well to reduce water usage, though–the region’s annual water consumption decreased by nearly 29 billion gallons between 2002 and 2012, despite a population increase of more than 400,000 during that span.

Figure 3. Lake Mead water levels from 1938 – 2013 in July show a precipitous drop since drought conditions gripped the Western U.S. in 2000. The Lake Mead photo was taken by wunderphotographer LAjoneson June 29, 2007, when the lake had a “bathtub ring” 109′ tall. Water level data from The Bureau of Reclamation.

The new intake tunnel is designed to maintain the ability to draw upon Colorado River water at lake elevations as low as 1,000 feet above sea level. The lake already has two intake pipes, and the higher of these will go dry when the lake level hits 1050′ – 1075′. As of August 2013, the Lake Mead water level was 1106′ above sea level, which is 114′ below full pool, but 24′ above the record low water level of 1081′ set in November 2010. Drought conditions worsen over Southwest U.S. in August
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, the Western U.S. drought peaked in July 2002, when 79% of the West was in at least severe drought, and 45% of the region was in the two highest categories of drought–extreme to exceptional. However, drought conditions have been steadily intensifying this summer. The August 13, 2013 Drought Monitor report showed that drought conditions in the Western U.S. are now the worst since 2004, with 78% of the West in at least severe drought, and 20% in the two highest categories of drought, extreme and exceptional. The latest U.S. Seasonal Drought Outlook, issued on August 15, calls for drought to remain entrenched over the large majority of the Western U.S. through the end of November.

Causes of the great Western U.S. drought
It is well-known that natural variations in sea surface temperature patterns, such as seen from the El Niño/La Niña oscillation, can influence storm tracks and can cause prolonged periods of drought. These natural variations likely had a hand in causing the great 2000 – 2013 Western U.S. drought. However, changes in the amount of sea ice covering the Arctic can also have a major impact on Northern Hemisphere atmospheric circulation patterns. We must consider if global warming, which has led to a 50% decline in summer Arctic sea ice extent since 1979, may be altering storm tracks and contributing to drought. In 2004, Lisa Sloan, professor of Earth sciences at UC Santa Cruz, and her graduate student Jacob Sewall published an article in Geophysical Research Letters, Disappearing Arctic sea ice reduces available water in the American west. An accompanying news release explained that their climate models found “a significant reduction in rain and snowfall in the American West” as a result of Arctic sea ice loss:

What they found was a change in atmospheric circulation patterns that caused a small northward shift in the paths of winter storms over western North America. This shift in winter storm tracks resulted in significantly reduced winter precipitation from southern British Columbia to the Gulf of California. In some areas, average annual precipitation dropped by as much as 30 percent. The reductions were greatest along the West Coast, with lesser changes further inland. But even as far inland as the Rocky Mountains, winter precipitation fell by 17 percent.

The sea ice acts like a lid over the ocean surface during the winter, blocking the transfer of heat from the ocean to the atmosphere, Sewall explained. Where the sea ice is reduced, heat transfer from the ocean warms the atmosphere, resulting in a rising column of relatively warm air. The shift in storm tracks over North America was linked to the formation of these columns of warmer air over areas of reduced sea ice in the Greenland Sea and a few other locations.

A follow-up paper by Dr. Sewall in 2005, “Precipitation Shifts over Western North America as a Result of Declining Arctic Sea Ice Cover: The Coupled System Response”, used a more sophisticated modeling technique but confirmed the results of the 2004 paper. In a June 2013 interview with climateprogress.org, Dr. Sewall commented:

“I think the hypothesis from 2004 and 2005 is being borne out by current changes. The only real difference is that reality is moving faster then we though/hoped it would almost a decade ago.”

Figure 6. The area of the Western U.S. in drought peaked during 2002 – 2004, but during 2013 has been approaching levels not seen since 2004. Image credit: U.S. Drought Portal.

Western North America drought of 2000 – 2004 the worst in over 800 years
The Colorado River’s water woes are due to an extraordinary 14-year drought that began in 2000, which peaked during 2000 – 2004. A 2012 study titled, Reduction in carbon uptake during turn of the century drought in western North America, found that the 2000 – 2004 drought was the most severe Western North America event of its kind since the last mega drought over 800 years ago, during the years 1146 – 1151. The paper analyzed the latest generation of climate models used for the 2013 IPCC report, which project that the weather conditions that spawned the 2000 – 2004 drought will be the new normal in the Western U.S. by 2030, and will be considered extremely wet by the year 2100. If these dire predictions of a coming “megadrought” are anywhere close to correct, it will be extremely challenging for the Southwest U.S. to support a growing population in the coming decades.

Figure 7. Normalized precipitation over Western North America (five-year mean) from 22 climate models used to formulate the 2013 IPCC report, as summarized by Schwalm et al., 2012, Reduction in carbon uptake during turn of the century drought in western North America. The horizontal line marks the precipitation level of the 2000 – 2004 drought, the worst of the past 800 years. Droughts of this intensity are predicted to be the new normal by 2030, and will be considered an outlier of extreme wetness by 2100. The paper states: “This impending drydown of western North America is consistent with present trends in snowpack decline as well as expected in-creases in aridity and extreme climate events, including drought, and is driven by anthropogenically forced increases in temperature with coincident increases in evapotranspiration and decreases in soil moisture. Although regional precipitation patterns are difficult to forecast, climate models tend to underestimate the extent and severity of drought relative to available observations. As such, actual reductions in precipitation may be greater than shown. Forecasted precipitation patterns are consistent with a probable twenty-first century megadrought.” Image credit: Schwalm et al., 2012, Reduction in carbon uptake during turn of the century drought in western North America, Nature Geoscience 5, 551-555, Published online 29 JULY 2012, DOI: 10.1038/NGEO1529, www.nature.com/naturegeoscience.

Your Color Vibe for 8/20

Tuesday, August 20:    Light Yellow Ochre

Full Moon/August Blue Moon:     This full moon will be bringing many things that have been in the shadows out into the open.  There are things here that you never thought you would have to look at again.  It is time to see things for what they are.  The old emotional stuff that you heaped upon them means nothing to anyone but you, and now, looking at them again through a new lens, well, they do not seem to mean much to you either.  Just like those old mementoes or love letters or souvenirs that came, that left so enthralled, that you saved them and stuffed them into a remember box, well right now, they are nothing but paper that can be recycled.  And perhaps a few memories to be reconsidered.  There is the possibility that in the light of the full moon today, you can see yourself strong in WHO you are..

Your Color Vibe for 8/19

Monday, August 19:    Red Gold

This is a day for reminding yourself of all the things you can do, all the gifts that you have, all the things you have learned, all the love that surrounds you.  This can take some soul searching, as we are always so ready to discredit how amazing we really are.  If you are having trouble, why not call a good friend.  They will remind you of things you perhaps have overlooked about yourself, things you take for granted.  It is a good day for some interior work, for letting the mind run free.  Do this in whatever way best suits you – a quick meditation, a breathing exercise, baking cookies, taking a walk, etc..  You know what quiets your soul.  Let things be what they are today.  This is not good energy for reacting.  It is great energy for grounding, for observing, for taking it easy, for just being.

Your Color Vibe for 8/18

Sunday, August 18:    Brilliant Blue

This is a great day for starting new projects, making big shifts in your life styles, changing your environment, meeting new people.  It marks a big turning point between where you have been and where you are going.  Carpe Diem!  Take advantage of the energies that are out there and trust that you can do whatever it is that you desire.  This is not a time for what-if’s or the what-will-they-think’s or the I’m-not-worthy’s.  This is a time for knowing how truly great and powerful you are.  It is an opportunity to embrace and accept the creator inside of you who has the ability to mold things to your desires. This current does not last long nor come terribly often.  It is the push you need to get out of your way and into the light.

Great Mystery Is Solved

Awakening the power to reshape our world.

Modern science is hot on the trail of solving one of the greatest mysteries of all time. Nearly 70 years of research in an area known as the “new physics” is pointing to a conclusion that we cannot escape.

The discovery: Everything in our world is connected to everything else. That’s the news that changes everything, and which is absolutely shaking the foundations of science, as we know it today. “OK,” you say. “We’ve heard this before. What makes this conclusion so different? What does it really mean to be so connected?” The difference between the new discoveries and what we previously believed is that in the past we were simply told that the connection exists. The new experiments, however, take us one step further.

Dearest Global Family,

Welcome to this new edition of “Bridging Science, Spirituality, and the Real World,” the only official newsletter for Gregg Braden!

Since our last edition I’ve had the opportunity to travel across four continents and speak with hundreds of people from 12 countries regarding the dramatic changes in our world, and what those changes mean in their lives. As different as the countries, people, and languages are from one another, there’s a common theme that came up time and again in the course of our conversations: What can we do to make our lives better while the world is going through so much change? It’s a great question, and the answer leads to the very crux of what my 2013 books, seminars, and media specials are all about.

The Facts
To answer the question we must honestly and truthfully acknowledge two facts that give context and meaning to the world that’s unfolding before our eyes. The facts are:

  1. We live in a time of extremes.
  2. We can no longer separate our everyday lives from the global stage.

It’s these facts that change everything about the way we’ve been led to think of ourselves, our relationship to the world, and the way we solve problems of relationships, finance, health and careers. It’s precisely because our daily lives and world events are so closely linked that we can no longer separate them.

The crises of climate change, for example, extreme weather, failing crops and failing economies translate directly into the cost of the transportation to and from our jobs; the cost of the food at our local market; the interest we pay to the local bank for the loans on our cars, homes and education, and the interest the local bank pays us on our CDs, IRAs and personal savings. The fractured economies of the world translate directly into the stress in our lives at the loss of neighborhood businesses and local jobs; the closing of factories and the loss of the benefits they bring to our local communities. There is no doubt in my mind that such big shifts happening on the world stage pave the way to healthier, safer, happier lives for us all. I am also under no illusion about the amount of change it takes for us to get to that better world.

Our lives are changing in ways that we’re not used to, and the change is happening faster than we’ve been prepared to think about and deal with.

The bottom line

While we certainly cannot solve the problems of the whole world in our living rooms, it’s from our living rooms, offices and classrooms we can choose how we respond to what the world is showing us. The key is that it all comes down to the way we think—about ourselves, our relationship to others, our relationship to the world today and our relationship to the past. It’s through the lens of our thinking that we solve the challenges that cross our doorstep each day.

The Answer

I began this letter with the question “What can we do to make our lives better while the world is going through so much change?” The following is an example of the transformation that’s possible in the answerIn our recent past, we’ve been led to believe that we’re separate from ourselves, separate from Earth, separate from our history and that we solve our problems through competition and conflict. It’s these beliefs that have led us to meet the challenges of our lives through the way we answer, consciously or subconsciously, the following question:

What can I get from the world that exists?

Through new discoveries of today’s best science (Deep TruthHay House 2011), we now know that some of the thinking of the past was incorrect, and some the thinking was plain wrong. The new discoveries tell us that through our thoughts, feelings and emotions we are deeply connected with ourselves, interdependent upon the world around us, deeply connected with our past and that Nature is based upon a model of cooperation and mutual aid. These discoveries lead us to change the question. The new question is:

What can I share with the world that’s emerging?

The way we answer this question is the key to everything. It opens new doors of possibility to the loss of jobs, careers and familiar ways of life in the past. And it gives us a way to embrace the needs of the new world that’s emerging rather than being stuck in an idea of a world that no longer exists.

A perfect example of this change of thinking in real life is the story of Ken, a friend of mine who lives in a rural community in Northern New Mexico. When his business as a home builder collapsed with the housing crisis of 2008, he asked himself the question

What can I share with the world that’s emerging?”

His answer was to apply the skills he’d developed building homes, which were no longer needed in 2008, to begin building something that was needed then, and continues to be needed today. He began to design and build a unique style of modular greenhouse so people would have a reliable supply of affordable food. Through Ken’s innovative design, his greenhouses can be used indoors or outdoors and will sustain a family, or a community 12 months of the year, regardless of climate and weather. To read Ken’s story click here. It’s stories like Ken’s that translate the theories of what’s possible in our world into real-life examples of transformation in our lives. Enjoy the story and I look forward to seeing you “on the road” in 2013!

With love and deep gratitude,

Gregg Braden

In addition to proving that we are connected to everything, research now proves that the connection exists because of us—specifically because of our consciousness. Our connectedness gives us the power to stack the deck in our favor when it comes to the way our lives play out. In everything from searching for romance and healing our loved ones, to the fulfillment of our deepest aspirations and the peace of our world, we are an integral part of all that we experience each day. That the discoveries show we can use our connection consciously opens the door to nothing less than our opportunity to tap the same power that drives the entire universe.

Through the connection that lives inside of you, me, and every human that walks the earth we have a direct line to the same force that creates everything from atoms and stars to the DNA of life! Read more »

Our ultimate fate will be the outcome of all the major crises of our time if they are left unchecked. These crises include: an unsustainable world population; climate change; growing shortages of food and fresh water; the widening gap between poverty and wealth, health and disease, and illiteracy and education, and the growing threat of war.

We know these problems exist. We’ve already applied the best minds of our time, and the best science based upon the best theories available, to study these problems. But if we were on the right track with our thinking, doesn’t it make sense that we would have more answers and better solutions by now? The fact that we don’t tells us we need to think differently.

I believe there are six deep truths (and the facts they reveal) that will radically change the way we’ve been led to think about our world and ourselves in the past. Let’s explore what they mean. Talk them over with the important people in your life; and discover if, and how, they may change the story that is shared in your family and across our world.

Deep Truth 5

A growing body of scientific data from multiple disciplines, gathered using new technology, provides evidence beyond any reasonable doubt that humankind reflects a design put into place at once, rather than a life-form emerging randomly through an evolutionary process over a long period of time.

Atlantis, Lemuria, Maldek

Atlantis, Lemuria & Maldek

The asteroid belt is all that remains of the planet Maldek

The asteroid belt is all that remains of the planet Maldek

The account below has been adapted for this website from the Introduction to The Nine Freedoms by Dr. George King.

Maldek

Hundreds of thousands of years ago there was another planet in this Solar System, about the size of Earth, which made its orbit between Mars and Jupiter. It was a green prosperous world inhabited by a people who had not reached a state of really advanced culture, but had nevertheless attained a stage which afforded an abundance of necessities which made life comparatively comfortable for all.

They studied the philosophies and dabbled in the sciences as do we, except that these people were more advanced in many ways than we are. The planet was so highly mechanized that robots took care of all the menial tasks. The inhabitants had discovered a rudimentary form of space travel, and could control their weather so that drought and famine became long forgotten. The majority, having an abundance of food, and having no menial tasks to perform, soon became content to while away their time in the sun. They became, in comparison with higher planetary cultures, a selfish, lackadaisical people seeking after their own enjoyment, as do the majority of people on Earth today.

Then the disease came.

It probably started subtly in the minds of those few men of science who shunned the procrastinating majority, in a fervent search for material conquest, thus leaving themselves open to the incurable affliction.

The mental disease manifested itself as a lust for greater power.

They found it!

They exploded a hydrogen bomb and completely destroyed the planet Maldek and murdered the whole populace in one blinding flash of searing flame. All that is now left of that beautiful planet is the asteroid belt.

The people who inhabited Maldek were suddenly released onto their different etheric planes. According to the perfect law of karma, these people had to reincarnate again, under strict limitation, upon another planet in the Solar System. The Earth was approached.

The Gods made an appeal to the Earth as an intelligence, asking if she would be willing to take compassion upon the killers of Maldek and agree to their reincarnation upon her back. In her great merciful compassion, she agreed, thereby accepting thousands of years of limitation so that these lesser life forms could gain essential experience. The Gods then approached the true inhabitants of Earth, a highly cultured race of individuals called – Adamic man, who also agreed to cooperate with the coming to Earth of the people from Maldek.

Gradually those too lazy to stop the shocking cosmic crime of the destruction of Maldek and those who had actually brought it about, were reincarnated upon Earth. Adamic man stayed for a time giving instruction, guidance and help – and then, in accordance with Divine law, left the new inhabitants of Earth to their own devices.

Lemuria

Out of the gross limitation of atomic mutation the civilization of Lemuria (also known as Mu) dragged its weary self. The Earth became somewhat similar to what Maldek had been. The people began to probe the philosophies and the sciences again, and the Lemurian civilization flourished.

At its peak, it was a civilization of much finer culture than we know on Earth today. The Lemurians established a liaison between themselves and advanced intelligences from other planets, who taught them a great deal.

But alas, the disease struck again.

Lemuria was split into two camps: good and evil, the later camp again probing the atom. For the second time, the forces within God’s tiny building blocks were unleashed – and the civilization of Lemuria was destroyed.

Atlantis

Again those left were born through gross limitation on and off a world seething with radioactive poisoning until, eventually, after thousands of years, another semblance of culture came into being, and, slowly at first, then later gaining momentum, the civilization of Atlantis flourished upon Earth. Again space travel was established. Again some listened to the voice of wisdom coming from higher sources, and there was a split into three definite camps. The few, searching for a force to give them conquest over the whole Solar System, the majority not caring much, because they were content to live in their procrastinations, and the other few, who had proved themselves ready for the higher teachings and possessed the logic and faith to accept the voice of higher authority.

Again the minds of the sadistic minority invented atomic weaponry.

As had happened at the time of the fall of Lemuria, those who were ready for evacuation just prior to the devastation that was to follow, were taken off the Earth by the Gods from space. Meanwhile, those beset with greed and lust for material supremacy, warred with each other. As neither side could win such an atomic war – down fell the civilization of Atlantis into charred radioactive ruins.

Today, again the forces of the atom have been unleashed. Again the world is divided against itself.

Let us not make the same mistake a fourth time!

It should also be noted that after the destruction of Lemuria, the Gods saw fit to place a barrier around the Earth called by some “the ring-pass-not”. In scientific terms this barrier is called “the ionosphere”. After the destruction of Atlantis, the ionosphere was greatly intensified. This intensification tended to cut man off from the higher forms of inspiration, making advancement so much more difficult. This move had to be brought about according to karmic law.

This is a very brief history of why we are here upon Earth and why we are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder in this Solar System. No other people in the Solar System have committed the worst possible crime, namely that of murdering a planetary intelligence.

Although we stand today in a position similar to that before Maldek was destroyed, there is one major difference between the two situations and that is this: the Supreme Lords of Karma have now declared, that under no account will the planet Earth herself be destroyed.

Banish Bad Energy From Everyday Life

Nature designed us as social creatures — we were meant to mingle, communicate constantly, and connect with each other on so many levels. It should come as no surprise, then, that in going about our everyday routines, we come into contact with hundreds of different energies: speaking with friends and family, listening to the many voices on TV, picking up tidbits of conversation from coworkers. Even asking the barista for your morning brew means you’re connecting!

Every energetic encounter, no matter how slight or fleeting, leaves an impression on our own field of energy. But what happens when we meet less-than-positive people and must merge with their dark disposition? This too comes with our daily dose of interaction, and since we can’t always help who’s around us, we must learn to block out energies that are detrimental to our morale. Follow my seven simple steps to banish bad energy from others and uplift your own energetic essence:

Identify who’s prone to a bad mood: Identify the people around you who are most likely to express negative energy. They might be under a lot of pressure, going through a difficult time, or just have a personality that lends a bad attitude. Some people simply see the glass as half empty rather than half full. And that’s fine for them, but their unstable temperament should not spill onto you.

Understand how their moods affect you: Analyze how their negative energy is depriving your own state of being, your emotions, and your ability to function. Once you acknowledge the impact, you’ll understand that their moods might be affecting you more than you think, leaving you physically and mentally drained. You may not realize it, but you absorb energies around you just as much as you absorb oxygen from the air.

Avoid those who give off bad energy: You should not have to “put up with” anyone’s bad mood on a daily basis, whether the person is your boss, family member, or spouse. If you know someone who is constantly low-spirited due to life circumstances or otherwise, it might be time for you to politely create a bit of space between you. You can’t run the other way whenever you see someone scowl, but you should shy away from people who emit chronic negativity and gravitate closer to those who praise a positive mindset.

Find a peaceful place: When you sense someone’s energy becoming toxic, try to retreat to a place of solitude. This might be your private office, your bedroom, even your car if you have nowhere else to go. The important thing is that you withdraw yourself from the unhealthy atmosphere and take a minute to recharge your own energy. When someone else’s energy is making you feel uncomfortable, try affirmations. You can say things like, “I love myself therefore I protect my energy from the harmful vibes of others.”

Create a shield of protection: Don’t allow others to tap into your field of energy; your energetic territory is your very own personal space of being, and very few people should have access to this private part of your self. If you’re an open person who invites others into your “energy bubble,” you grant them the opportunity to modify your mood and mold your well-being to their liking. Remember that when someone enters your energy field, their own state of being doesn’t trail far behind. If you feel this happens to you often, keep your energetic doors closed to invaders.

Practice pure energy: Your energetic levels determine the precious, sometimes irreversible decisions you make. And if your energy is foggy from the emotional fumes of others, you may not always make the best decisions. In unpleasant situations, seek solutions through healing, high-spirited methods rather than through destructive, unruly emotions. Your problems may reach the same resolutions whether you utilize logic or desperation, but you will waste much more energy employing the latter.

Keep your own emotions in check: Just as we exercise our bodies, we must also exercise our emotions. We often believe we don’t have the power to control our emotions, but we do! We tend to enable our emotions by feeding into the negative ones like anger, jealousy, and sadness. Instead, we need to control our negative emotions before they take control of us. Practice keeping your emotions within a normal range in order to keep them healthy and stable. Our greatest mistakes are made in moments of anger, which raises adrenaline levels and takes hold of our actions. Remember that the more you enable anger, the more the nerve cells of your brain evoke this emotion. Similarly, the more you practice feelings of tranquility, unconditional love, and rational thinking, the more you will slip naturally into these moods.

Though our moods fluctuate naturally, they should never flare up or plummet due to the negative influences of others. We must remember that, ultimately, feeling good begins within us, meaning we have to work hand in hand with our inner emotions to stay balanced. Take my seven simple steps into consideration the next time you connect to the energies of others–it might be very soon!
